The only character I want more than her to return would be to finally have Destiny on the show.

I really wished they incorporated Psylocke the ninja version as part of the official roster of the X-Men animated series.

Same. Although I would like to see Emma Frost and Sunfire too. But I do think that neither Psylocke nor Emma would be offering anything different than Jean Grey. Sunfire to some extent will be similar to Jubilee/Sunspot. It seems like it just feels repetitive. I definitely would want these three characters to appear more often but again, I just don’t see how these three characters will offer something distinct.

I AGREE. HOPEFULLY ICE MAN, PSYLOCKE , COLOSSOUS, ARCH ANGEL AND NIGHT CRAWLER BECOME FULL FLEDGED X-MEN. ICEMAN AND ANGEL WERE PART OF THE TEAM IN A FLASH BACK.

The one X-men character I really like see in reboot series is mimic, he practically one most powerful members of the group. Well for thing he can copy five mutant powers at once and another thing he was once a leader of X-men

@@JoseDeJesusMejia-dh4wb I like him too but I am a bit confused with his origin story because originally in the comics I thought he was not a mutant and was the first non-mutant to join the X-Men. Then they introduced the character Hope Summers who showed similar abilities of power mimicking but it turned out she has the power to manipulate every mutant abilities in existence.

My biggest issue is the last episode of X-Men. Jubilee was actually a little bit older than the way they’re portraying her in the new animated series. It’s giving Emma Frost in the Wolverine origin and x-men fist class vibes.

Yeah. Problem they had was that, in the 90’s, they weren’t on the main team. Due to the legacy virus killing Ilyana, Colossus joined the Acolytes. Meanwhile, because Kitty and Kurt were too injured from the mutant massacre to participate in Fall of the Mutants, they thought everyone else was dead and, after that, they moved to the UK and worked with Captain Britain in Excalibur. Plus, frankly, wise choice for them to move. Because, in fall of the mutants, Rogue sacrificed herself among the others to stop the adversary via a ritual conducted by Forge. To say that Mystique was livid would be the understatement of the millennia. And then Legion killed Destiny. Needless to say, Mystique would’ve caused utter chaos.

Would love to see Colossus, Blink, Firestar, Blob, Daken & karma! ❤

Firestar could appear if the Hellfire club and, the Queen of camp, Selene appears. If she does, looks like Emma will be playing America’s number one reality show; murder that horse. We also need to do that spiral story with her. Also, after reading Ayala’s new mutants, I want more good things for Karma.

Emma Frost is also confirmed but i don't know who'll voice her. I'm hoping it's Kari Walhgren again from Wolverine and the X-Men

That Emma may be the best adaptation of her with second place being the x men anime. I say this because they remember that she’s a teacher at heart. That series introduced me to her and Dust; two characters that got me to actually check out the comics. Also, that show has one of the few decent depictions of Selene. However, I want the 97 show to go FULL HAM with Selene.

I always hear the voice of the original VAs whenever i read the x-men comics. Professor X's, Storm, Jean, Wolverine and Rogue are the clearest in my mind.

Unfortunately, if Magneto is running the school and Maddie Pryor is there, you are very likely to see the formation of the original 5 in X factor. Aka the comic No one came out of it clean.

I just can't wait

If we do get the Hellfire club, I want Selene in there as well as Sage. From that newspaper in the trailer, we did see images of characters like Dust and Stacy X so I hope they play a part in the story.

Sinister was never connected to apocalypse in the 90s series unlike the comics

I doubt they would do it, but it'd be hillarious if they had Deadpool stop by for an episode to wink at the camera a few times.

There’s a stronger possibility of him turning up. Problem is that, up until the New Defenders, he was mostly MIA after Giant Sized. The nineties did bring him back to some popularity… and planted seeds.

Bro, what does this show have against Colossus, Iceman and Angel/Arcangel?! Iceman is one of the founding members! And he was in 1 episode of the original show...

Okay, I may have an explanation. For Ice Man and Ice Man, they had been written out of the team in Giant Sized X men in ‘75. Afterward, Ice man became an accountant and the two would pop up on different teams every so often. Beast was in a similar position but he went to the Avengers. And, because a lot of the 90’s show was about 70’s and 80’s stories, Angel and Ice man weren’t in there much until X factor… where no one got out unscathed. I heavily recommend the 80’s New Defenders. Angel, Beast and Iceman joined the Defenders and they appointed Candy Southern, Angel’s girlfriend of about 20 publication years to be the base leader. Colossus is a weird one. By the 90’s, he had left to join Magneto because Ilyana had died from the Legacy Virus. A thing that was averted in the show. That’s a more confusing one being honest.

Well, a lot of the X men stories that they used in the show were from the 80’s and the Hellfire club was big in the 80’s. Primarily because Selene joined and the rest of the club thought she was too powerful to stay without answering questions. So, Emma murdered Firestar’s Horse and blamed Selene for it to get Firestar to agree to being trained.

I want the Inhumans in X-Men 97 to Team UP with them.

Allison wasn't the original actress for Storm . That was Iona Morris. She was the best Storm in my opinion. Cyclop's and Storm will lead the team.

From my understanding, Charles was in a coma and was close to death but was taken to space by Lilandra for care under the Shi'ar people.

I grew up with X-Men Evolution as a kid, X-Men was on its last reruns by the late 90’s/early 2000’s. Understandably, seeing a “revival” trailer for the original I never got to experience gave me the chills! We’ll see how well it holds up.

@@-Fabiandejesus Maddie started off as the typical Claremont Dame character; a woman who was close with the X men and had a kickass job. Hers was being an airline pilot. She debuted in From the Ashes; a sequel to Dark Phoenix where Cyclops falls in love with her but can’t help seeing the similarities between her and Jean. They looked almost identical. Eventually, he does see her as her own person and they get married. This was supposed to be how Cyclops would’ve been retired from the franchise. Especially after a depowered Storm beat him for the leader position. Years pass and then, after Magneto becomes the head of the institute, the Fantastic 4 find a cocoon in the ocean. Opening it up, they find Jean. This was an editorial choice to resurrect her and bypass the issue of resurrecting someone who killed billions by claiming the Phoenix force took her place whilst she healed. When Scott found out, he left his wife and son, Nathan, in their Alaskan cabin to be with Jean and the rest of the original 5 in X factor. Yes. Cyclops walked out on his wife and son, Nathan. Nathan would be kidnapped by Sinister’s marauders and Maddie left comatose from a shot to the head trying to save him. She eventually sacrificed her life in Fall of the mutants but was resurrected for the Outback era, having a friendship with Havok. Aka the only summers brother who cared about what had happened. Some time later and Inferno happens. Basically, Maddie makes a deal with demons to get powers to help find baby Nathan. She finds Mr Sinister who tells her the truth; he wanted Scott and Jean’s babies. Unfortunately, with Jean too powerful and, eventually, dead, he cloned her. Maddie was the clone, existing only to be a “broodmare”. She did not take this well. She then tapped into her latent Jean powers in her mental breakdown and, with her new demonic energies, as Goblin Queen, caused New York to go into chaos, enslaved Havok into being the Goblin Prince (in the skimpiest male outfit I’ve seen in a while) and, after the demons returned baby Nathan, she tried to sacrifice him and 9 other babies to merge Limbo (censored hell due to comics code authority) and Earth. She died. But it’s X men. Her powers are a weaker version of Jean’s telepathy and telekinesis as well as demonic magic. When Cable, all grown up, did meet her when she resurrected, she apologised profusely but tried to also get him to rule the world with her as mother and son. He refused and, accepting his decision, they recreated the Alaskan cabin on the astral plane to be their neutral ground.

Thought Cyclops was happily married to Gene with a kid on the way. Are you telling me that isn't the case? What's with Morph's new look and the fact that he is non binary? What happed to Rogue's and Storm's bodies? Is Marvel just trying to check as many of the SJW boxes as they can ?
