I consider this the real golden era of comics. Bringing comic books to other mediums and exposing a whole generation to these heroes and stories was massive for comic properties.

Same here, then after X-men I believe it was spider-man and his amazing friends. But for sure kids today don’t really care about that all they want is phones or tablets. Our era was different and definitely better than now days. Take care fellow mutants

It should be on "The Fifth Horseman" episode. Final Season. Fabian Cortez started the ceremony with Jubilee as the sacrifice but he was saved by Beast with Caliban's help and escaped. The ceremony continued with Fabian Cortez, apologizing to Apocalypse that he has no vessel for him. But Apocalypse said there is, and he merged with Fabian Cortez as his vessel.

I had to check before I commented because I felt I surely couldn't be the only person that knew that. Yes at the end of that episode Apocalypse clearly possessed Fabian Cortez and used him as the vessel for his return. Thank you.

Morph was the only one in the team that could make wolverine laugh.

Absolutely excited about it! Out of all the animated comic cartoons from then like Batman, Superman, Spiderman, etc., X-Men was my favorite. Ready for this!

I knew I couldn't be the only one going back to watch all the original episodes in order, to re-familiarize myself with everything & the order it happened in. I started a few days ago watching as many episodes as I can each night before bed & I'm just getting done with season 2 PS: I'm so stoked for X-Men '97!!

it was legit shocking. He had ever reason to go full villain mode again, but he does well. He’s still very much magneto, and a villain through and through, but he is, for the sake of Charles his equal, trying to change.

As a late 90s kid who grew up watching recorded VHS tapes of all the X-Men and Spider-Man cartoons from my older brothers collection, thank you for this quick refresher! I hope they do bring back the 90s Spider-Man cartoon and maybe have another crossover like they did with the episode of The Beyonder.

After watching episode 3 of X-men ‘97, I don’t think they could’ve handled the Madelyn Pryor situation any better. It was very easy to follow and didn’t screw up any characters relationships in me eyes

I really hope they pump up the framerate. The animation looks like the low quality later part of the series. Jerky movements make it look like a Flash animation on Newgrounds.

I'm a month late and watching this before i binge it all.. Let's get it!

Age of apocalypse would be such a great storyline to explore since the absence of charles and magneto in charge of the xmen….

Things I'm looking for in the new show. The writers remember Rogue, Nightcrawler, and Graydon Creed are related in one form or another. Nightcrawler is Catholic. And I'm focusing on the new voice actors for Cyclops, Magneto, and Gambit. THEY BETTER MEASURE UP! RIP Norm Spencer and David Hemblen.

I dunno if you have seen the new x-men 97 action figures but the Madelyn prior figure comes with a baby cable accessory so it looks like they are going the comic route.

The thing about madalin Prior (hope I spelled correctly) is they already made her toy figure (Goblin Queen) so I am sure they are doing it that way.

In Season 5, Apocalypse returned by taking Fabian Cortez's body (Season 5, Episode 9 or 10). This transpired in the 90's cartoon, I'm not sure how Apocalypse returns in the comics, but it's probably the same way.

I too want to see a continuation of Spider-Man! I can't wait for him to reveal himself to be nonbinary too! Mary Jane can become Marty and Eddie Brock can finally remove the mask that society forced him to wear all these years to reveal that he's actually been black and in a wheelchair all along. Oh, and he's the real hero, Peter was just using his white privilege to steal Eddie's glory. Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

I wouldn't mind they finish spiderman to they left us with the cliff hanger with searching for mary jane that i forgot spiderman unlimited too

They did release an X-men 97 Goblin Queen figure, so we will have to wait and see.

You know, with Jean pregnant literally no one asks about if it's REALLY Jean. They never explained her return in the original series. I was rewatching and she literally just appears and no one said anything about it as if she never died to begin with... Maybe it's not really Jean and maybe that is Cable.
