I love how Scott's command to Logan is a sort of redemption of Logan's classic "I'm the best I am at what I do…" line. Like, no Logan, the thing you're best at isn't killing; it's healing. [tears]

I actually really loved that part. It's Scott being the leader of the team in a way that only he can... Recognizing Logan's value not only to the team, but to Jean in particular and, on some level, accepting that Jean does love Logan (but her heart belongs to Scott) and would be devastated by his death. All this despite the fact that they (Scott and Logan) have never really gotten along, but each of them have put aside their differences countless times, often for the team and perhaps more often, simply out of respect for Jean.

To add to that I love when Morph turns into Jean to tell Logan they love him, because Morph didn’t want to say it as Morph, plus saying it as Jean perked Logan up when he heard her voice. Now we got a feral Logan running around in either the future or ancient Egypt, my guess is the future because that’s where Jean and Scott are.

I loved the 90’s show when I was watching reruns of it in the 2000’s as a kid & this scene just gave me a nice closure since the original 90’s show just ended on a cliffhanger. It's fun to learn about the niche things that are hinted at. But that was so glaringly obvious. I watched the episode with my friend and we both knew exactly what that meant and she doesn't even know anything about xmen. It's standard foreshadowing.

She’s pretty much the most popular mutant who wasn’t included in the original show because of the failed Pryde of the X-Men pilot. I cheered when I saw that she was canon to this continuity because she’s one of my favorite mutants and deserves to be part of this incredible show. She’s the only character on that wall who hasn’t shown up at all yet, so I am REALLY hoping that she joins in Season 2 🤞

The cameos were awesome!!! Such great themes in every episode. This season had a great balance of Nostalgia and Futurism.

The only thing that bothered me was Magneto's helmet. It was crushed on Chawls head like an aluminum can at the cliffhanger of Part 2. Open Part 3 and he's already in Erik's head like that telepathic barrier never existed.

The Australian Outback years was actually one of my absolute favorite runs of the XMen.

I feel like that end credits scene with Apocalypse was a nod to Thanos' end credit scene in Avengers, especially with the grin "To Challenge them is to court Death."

Pain does not have to shape his actions for the rest of his life... well said... I needed that, terrible stuff happened to me recently and I've been in the dumps.
