What?! I cried a bucket of tears watching her audition. Her life is just so inspiring!! No words can describe her humility and humbleness. Truly, God has something unique and special as he creates us. Nothing is inferior nor superior. One maybe born with lots of wealth but a person who has nothing who strives harder not only for herself but for her own family is richer in the eyes of God. :) Godspeed Rose Fostanes :)

we lack good composers who can write songs that will be global hits. there is an overabundance of great singers however. hopefully, great composers will collaborate with filipino artists.

Due to poverty from their own country, many filipinos went abroad to look for a job just to sustained the needs of their family. Work hard outside of the country is better than having a good position in the local government, and joinining the auditions from different countries is one way of sideline of the filipino workers to earn more profits rather than to wait for the salary. Let us respect the spirit of the filipinos. They don't like to go to other countries just to look for a work and leave their families for how many years, but they cant help and they have no choice but to take all the risk.

Rose voice is a winner but she is disadvantaged by her physique and ethnicity. The feeling of being an outcast is typical. I'm a Filipino immigrant in Australia and what struck me most is the respect given by Israelis to her. Now I call that class. Shalom.

She said herself that she's been joining singing contest in the Philippines until she reached that middle age but has anyone from the Philippine music industry ever noticed her? None.. ZERO. Why? Simply this... If you want to be a famous singer in the Philippines, you better be beautiful and sexy and then third is the talent. Rose although has the third point but she obviously lacks the primary and secondary requirements(which for me is SICK). And so she end up as a caregiver in a foreign country where people don't look too much in the physical aspects of a singer... and she made it... and she made it by herself. She better stay in Israel and continue her singing career because if she try to pursue her dreams in the Philippines, she will be destroyed by the dirty tricks and games of Philippine show business.

alto are special, everybody is expecting screaming high belters,but alto has a sweet spot in my ears and heart.

Why are people so surprised that others cry when they hear certain music or songs. Music is the highest form of communication and can bring out all sorts of emotions in people. I can cry at adverts if the music is right! Doesn't make me strange, there are millions like me.
