What happens if WiFi is down? Will it still ring but not record?

Why turn the power off? Does it do something bad for setup if you don't? I can easily remove the two wires from my old doorbell and attach them to this one without touching wires.

You should always cut power to electrical wires when working with them.

If you can show how to do all the steps it would be more helpful

Put a link for the hard wire kit.

You don’t need an extra kit. Everything comes with the doorbell.

Sure you do. You need the end that plugs into the electrical outlet. The box only came with 2 little wires about 3 inches long.

@@nanmer7135that’s not a kit. If you don’t have doorbell wiring already, just use the battery. Or pay an electrician.

@@nanmer7135 What? You attach the two wires to the screws on the back of the door bell. The only thing that plugs into the electrical outlet would be the Pro Chime (if you have one). You don't need to plug things in that are already powered by the electricity through the wires.

What a waste of time…. Next time you want to make an install video maybe actually show HOW to take off the existing doorbell and actually show how you connected it. What about the wires it came with in the box?! So many questions smh
