WWF WrestleMania and WWF European Rampage Tour were games targetted towards the European market. Both travesties were developed in the UK however different teams worked on each release. With minimal wrestlers to choose from (WrestleMania has Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior and British Bulldog while European Rampage Tour has Warrior, Hogan, Bret Hart and Randy Savage) and limited moves to perform, these wrestling games become pretty dull pretty fast.
This video takes a look at the Amiga versions of WWF WrestleMania and WWF European Rampage Tour.
This video contains additional footage from of World of Longplays.

The ultimate warrior’s “theme” had me dying😂😂😂😂
Steve Blackman once threw a punch and knocked out 3 people. Then his punch landed.

I’m absolutely dying at this video. “I was ready to do the job” brilliant, keep it up please!
7:44 You finally found the real heat behind Booker T's "I'm comin' for you..." line. Hogan went back in time and stole the missile drop kick lol
European Rampage has such a great opening presentation. The music (the first WWF game with real themes), the Sean Mooney segments. But “then the bell rang.”

I’ve noticed that about a lot of Amiga ports, they go all out on the intro and the actual gameplay is very unsatisfying. Of course the Amiga centric mags seemed to give these games good reviews regardless.
Had an Amiga 500 in 1991 and can recommend games such as Shadow Of The Beast II (for adventure), Cannon Fodder (for strategy), Pinball Dreams (for an addictive pinball game), Dino Dini's Goal! (for football), Ilyad (for shoot-em-ups). Man, I had over 500 games on floppy disks for this machine and loved every minute of it.

Moonstone is an absolute classic as well, I had it on one of my many 'backup's' on copied floppy disks when I bought my A500 from my neighbour.
Doing the job clean in the middle of the ring to Perfect got me😂😂😂😂
Just about to turn off the computer & Bio's pops up. Bliss.
"Let's check the bios here. That's kinda my thing isn't it?" 🤣👊🏼. Quality.

I love that you chose the Ultimate Maniacs.. the tag team that never was, but we always wanted

Ultimate Maniacs where in fact a tag-team. They wrestled a few matches in the fall of 92 mostly against Nasty Boys (televised ! summerslam 92 pre-show (aired a night before the event) and also against Money Inc. Warrior left WWE in november 92 because of money issues.

Never owned an amiga and it makes learning about all these games super interesting. I was too busy looking up every super nintendo and sega genesis game back in the day so the fact there was even more on the Amiga and pc88 systems blows my mind still. If you're looking for something weird an interesting check out Dark Seed. It's a point in click adventure/horror game with visuals made for it by H. R. Giger. It came out on other platforms but i discovered it looking up amiga games. There's an odd Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on the Amiga too.
Love these videogame reviews. Weirdly enough, those were the videos that brought me to this channel. you would think as a lifelong wrestling fan it would be reliving the war showing up on my feed first but nope. Videogames it is. Either way, love this one. Always fun to look at obscure old school games I have never heard of.
Get a mate round and go through the The Chaos Engine in 2player (co-op shoot-em-up)...fuken classic! Mood, atmosphere, decent graphics and music. Also, cheers for all your work on the channel - you possibly don't know how much it means to many of us. All the best for the new year!
I love the constant video game coverage.
you caught me off guard with the ultimate warrior theme there....SNOOCHIE BOOCHIES
Thanks for putting yourself into such torture to provide this video for us👍👌😄
I just love the WWF Royal Rumble music you play in the background, it's so good and nostalgic.
I was like you I used to be a big collector of games up until a few years back when the prices went up it just killed my enthusiasm for doing it so I started using mini consoles too. I only played the C64 version of Wrestlemania as a child and it used to ruin joysticks. The CPU was also way too hard and won grapples all the time. Although I worked out a glitch that got them locked in the bottom right corner so you could just keep knocking them out the ring and they would get tapped in that corner and you could repeat. It made it equally as rubbish as playing it and getting killed all the time. Also if you want Amiga games It Came from the Desert and Ruff 'n' Tumble are two of my favourites
Davey's quote should have been: "There's no bull in this Bulldog..." Rampage seems like one of those games that someone got it as a kid and they forced themselves to like it b/c it was one of a few games they had, and they were gonna play it and beat it come hell or high water.
Nice to see you actually had a Pro Wrestling NES Cartridge! I loved that game! "A Winner Is You!" Ryan!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ALL …. 🎅🎄
Turrican was amazing and ahead of its time on the Amiga
“He’s no match for my incredible shoulder buttons “😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Oooh, this was a nice change up. Very cool stuff.
Yessir it's Wrestling bois! Happy Holidays man.
You ARE able to play as Mr Perfect in Wetlemania´s pactice mode when you use a joystick in Port 2
Oh boy, nostalgia strikin me hard, Amiga was my machine. Try to find the following games: Hostages, The Chaos Engine, Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions, Turrican I+II, Giana Sisters, Bubble Bobble, Silkworm + SWIV, Rick Dangerous, Speedball 2, Super Hang On, Pit Fighter, Chambers of Shaolin, Panza Kickboxing, Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge 2, Monkey Island and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. Those are imo the best games from the kinds of genres I used to play.
Hogan's trademark pile driver - so trademark he never used it in a match - cue someone needing to find a video of Hogan using the pile driver!! 😁😁

Did he ever do a piledriver even at a dark match? I don’t know what they were watching to give him the move over the legdrop.
There's something charming about how these old games play.... getting frustrated with old spectrum, c64 and amiga games were part of my childhood
Dude seriously thank you so much for all the content you dropped in just the last weeks alone , also when you said Chin Lockery i almost spit my drink out lmaooo
Honestly thought the first 3 minutes was leading up to an advert for a new gaming port system, I was happily suprised it was just a sincere appraisal.
Being in the US, I never played these games. But I like the way WrestleMania looks, the sprites remind me of WrestleFest

Finding old NES and Genesis games at yard and garage sales is freaking AWESOME. It's amazing what you can find for super-cheap prices.

I like that they included Warrior's large package...that's some nice attention to detail.
that shoulder button realization😮 all been there also that TwilighT logo is awesome
Very funny commentary on this one and absolutely LOVE the touch of the old SNES games music backdrop.....
I agree buying carts for old consoles is expensive and half the time they don't work
Davey boy on the titantron looks like Stephanie McMahon
Actually, the third championship thing really was considered a big deal, and it was a calling card of Hogan's through mid '91. That blurb looks like it came straight out of the WWF Superstars mag that year.
Davey Boy Smith. Known for: Being Bizarre!
I always enjoy your looks back at these vintage wrestling games.
You covering wrestling games is very entertaining to watch
Top tip - when you lock up, pause the game and swap the controller for a mouse. Unpause and shake the mouse like a maniac, win the clinch. Pause, swap the mouse for controller/joy stick and carry on. Yes, I seriously did this back in the day to beat the game!
Love your videos. Been watching now since the warrior career retrospective
the amiga had some amazin' games: speedball2, stunt car racer, hybris, buggy boy, sidewinder, ik+, turrican, off road, swiv ...and i also liked the demoscene.
Those quotes and "known for" lines are just taken from old WWF magazine bios. They were also used for the back of Hasbro figure cards as well.
I saw worms on your selection screen there mate, you should definitely get a friend over and give that a go, such a funny game
I can highly recommend Turrican and Turrican II for the Amiga.
You mastered the art of the subtle but hilarious little jokes. The Street Fighter 2 part had me rolling! It was like you were fighting MK Acade version of Goro in Street Fighter form.
Awesome video man

Bulldog should have been known for winning the intercontinental title whether he wanted to or not.
Just look at the shined up Davey-Boy chin-locked on screen for eternity while he's pummeled in the ring😂😂😂 🙈I can't...
Street fighter was like back in the day. Lemmings was the dogs testicle.
I was sooo looking forward to European Rampage on my Amiga. My friends at school lied to me, said they already had it, and basically described the best wrestling game ever. Imagine my disappointment when getting it on my birthday 😂
13:16 gotta love a good Jay and Silent Bob joke, lol.
Such a great video.
16:30 Wow I feel personally attacked
Man a video on the Amiga now thats awesome. Great job! This was pretty cool
Dude, I thought you were off for the year? I salute you sir!
Over here in the United States, the NES pretty much dominated the home console market during this time, with some competition from the Atari 7600, Sega Master System, and of course the Genesis later on. Many of these other platforms either never saw the light of day here or they were in very limited quantity.
I'd definitely watch a gaming bios channel, I know you're a man of limited time though
The opening is my sentiments exatly. Much love.
Another great video
As a kid I never got to play these but saw them in magazines, and I was fascinated by WrestleMania looking like WrestleFest (well, like Superstars at least). I wish they'd used the arcade games as the graphical and gameplay basis for all of the SNES/MegaDrive WWF games. I played the hell out of them at the time, but looking back, the only decent wrestling game I had in that era was Saturday Night Slam Masters.
I had an Amiga 500, I remember getting the WWF game for Christmas 1991.
Serious credit for the amount of time of spent on these games man... Plus did anyone think the big picture of the British bulldog in the background looks more like stephany ????
I really enjoyed that. thanks
Having only babyfaces to select yet having to win applying heel tactics... poetic.
A great video Wrestling Bios as always but Street Fighter 2 on the Amiga was US Golf not Ocean One of my favourite Amiga games was Speedball 2 and Kick Off 2
Random Jay and Silent Bob reference is random but welcomed 😂
Always loved Kick Off 2 , Supercars 2 and Sensible World of Soccer. I have an Amiga 600
13:15 had me confused at first and then I realized it was Jay, well done. You know your male 28-40 year old audience well my friend.
13:16 You caught me off guard with that one! Lmao
6:56 "That's an open hand slap!"
You've probably played some on other platforms but Sleepwalker, Sensible Soccer, Sensible Golf, Syndicate, Dreamweb, Cannon Fodder, Chaos Engine, Ultimate Soccer Manager, European Champions, Speedball 2, Lotus Turbo Challenge 2, Police Quest, Skidmarks, Dynablaster, Super Tennis Champs, Desert Strike... are some I remember being pretty good back in the day.
On the Amiga I used to love playing Gods, Assassin, Batman, James Pond 2: Robo Cod, Magic Pockets, Zool, Blues Brothers, Addams Family, Crash Test Dummies, Chuck Rock, and many more.
I saw super spike verbally and I was like... this dude has good taste. I keep hoping one day the Nintendo switch online will put that game on it. I want to play it again
The European Rampage gameplay looks VERY similar to the Rocky Sega master system game.
In European Rampage Tour, at least they allow you to pin opponents Kamala style. Yet based on the footage, the only time the ref didn't bother to count was when the AI was being pinned the traditional way.
Alien Breed on the Amiga was always my go to as a kid. Awesome game.
Looks like Superstars arcade, plays like a broken down car. I remember Christmas day and playing this on both my friends C64 and another's Amiga. We had such high Hope's, and they were absolutely destroyed.
Well that Mountie design will now live in my nightmares
The two games that ECW did, hardcore revolution and anarchy rulz would be good to see if possible. Love the work you do mate
