I used to stop in at the Atlanta Falcons training facility when it was in Suwanee, GA when I would be passing through the area. One day circa 96-97 I stopped in and the Falcons defensive line (Chuck Smith, Travis Hall, Lester Archambeau) were all in the lobby and let me tell you these dudes were massive human beings. People forget that Goldberg was considered "undersized" in the NFL. I could see why when I saw those guys in person.

I think the WCW guys knew Goldberg was into sport entertainment more than he was into Football. They said he would spend alot of time with the guys backstage while he was with the Falcons. Goldberg was talented in football, but more passionate in sport entertainment, but he wasn't as talented in sport entertainment, he got over because of a huge push (which I don't blame him for).
I always attributed Goldberg's win over Lesnar to the fact that Goldberg actually made it in the NFL.

The last "tackle" is my favorite of the highlights
While on the sideline, was Goldberg asking his teammates " Who's next?" Lol.
Was actually drafted by the Rams out of Georgia. Heck of a NT in college. Way better D-Linemen than Lesnar and The Rock
He was in on the tackle of some greats there.

1:25 long, that's all I need to know. This highlight lasts as long as his matches!
probly the best highlight reel ever!!
He was a hell of a player. Injury sidelined him
Pretty decent defensive lineman also huh? Cool. I always knew he was as good in the NFL as he was in the wrestling ring. LOL
At 0:49 I remember Goldberg being on Good Morning Football claiming that he should have been credited with a sack on Trent Dilfer, not Chris Doleman. Goldberg played in 14 games (1 Start) in 3 seasons with the Falcons. He's credited with 11 Tackles, No Sacks.
