I was at a college football game several years ago and at one point the ball got deflected and ended up in the hands of one of the big guys on defense. Dude was so surprised he didn't even try to run; he just paused for a moment before dropping to the ground to take a knee. The crowd burst out laughing.

The Keith Traylor interception runback at 4:50 was just hilarious. Poor guy was looking to hand it off to someone faster but there was nobody in sight and he slows down hoping to get tackled just so that he doesn't have to run those last few yards for the Pick-6.🤣🤣🤣

I love these types of plays. The big guy usually only gets one chance ever to get the ball, so they put it into their top gears. Their teammates know this, and work hard to create a wall to prevent any tackles from behind.

It really does make it that much better. Big mans are known to do the blocking but when they get an I.N.T. or picked up a fumbled ball and try to run off with it, you see all CB's, MLB's and Safeties running their asses off trying to block for the big man.

i nearly shat my pants as a kid when i saw this big dude run the way he did. fun fact: in this vid, if keith traylor actually returned the remaining 9 yards to get the ball for the touchdown, he would've been in the HoF for being the HEAVIEST man to score the touchdown weighing 340 pounds. to get the reference, refrigerator perry was only 335.1 pounds that scored the touchdown in super bowl 20 WITH THE SAME FRANCHISE AS WELL!!!

I’m a rugby player and fan... that last tackle has to be the best I’ve ever seen anywhere - he’s just got no right to get him, it looks impossible, foolish to try even but he just puts his head down and does not give up! He gets there in good time and nails it! Just incredible athleticism... wow!

Larry Allen was a god in his day. Offensive Lineman to be feared. Allen was part of the reason Emmitt Smith did so well as a running back, Allen could keep up and keep blocking downfield and a big powerful dude on the rip making holes you could drive a bus through. Truly fearsome.

Man there's something about seeing the big guys run with the ball. Its like having ice cream for breakfast as a kid, it should never happen but its so damn satisfying.

Big guy interceptions are my favorite. They usually don't get recognized, and when they make these huge plays, I love watching the entire team dog pile them and celebrate. Just awesome.

One of those announcers was Dan Dierdorf, a former offensive lineman, so you know he was going to bring the big guys jokes.

I was at that Kieth Traylor game. While some fans were cheering, the majority were laughing, including me. Laughing so hard, most people had tears streaming down their faces. It was hilarious!!! 😂😂😂

Larry Allen was the greatest lineman to ever play this game. My man was a beast. Also bench pressed 700lbs too.

Larry Allen was that fast in addition to being the strongest man in the League. Imagine a guy like that getting mad at you. "Oh, he's fat, I'll outrun him." Then he's on your back like a bear and it's all over.

Only highlight have you watched any tape? The dude one man double blocked he would push down a guy on his side and help blocking on the other the dude was a glitch. Emmit said oh I was so blessed I wasn't injured man he should be blessed he had the best best O line for five ten years.

I always loved it when a defensive lineman picks up a fumble and takes it for a touchdown. The joy on their faces cause they never get to touch the ball is priceless. Reguardless of team. Nothing like watching a 350-400 pounder run the ball for a touchdown. Its so hilarious man.

I love how these plays are the biggest moments of the big guys careers and that their teammates go to block for them, the way they celebrate it truly shows how much team spirit their is in the teams

How much practice does he get at tackling? And yet, he made a perfect tackle -- totally airborne, laid-out, HORIZONTAL! And it was a _perfect_ pursuit angle. I watched it once. I was impressed. I watched it twice. I was more impressed. I watched it three times. I was in awe. BTW, kudos to Highlight Heaven for making this the last clip. What a way to end the video!

@@robertsipe9748 That play is prime example of never give up attitude. That Larry Allen play is one of my favorite big men plays, always will be. O-lineman realized ball was lost, target acquired, proper pursuit angles for his size executed, bam ball carrier stopped.

I'm glad they included the Larry Allen play. I was watching that game with my dad and we literally yelled out "LARRY ALLEN?!?" the same time the announcers did.

Why is it so wholesome to watch them run, normally they’re terrifying at short distance but after a long run these big guys look so happy.

in this vid, if keith traylor actually returned the remaining 9 yards to get the ball for the touchdown, he would've been in the HoF for being the HEAVIEST man to score the touchdown weighing 340 pounds. to get the reference, refrigerator perry was only 335.1 pounds that scored the touchdown in super bowl 20 WITH THE SAME FRANCHISE AS WELL!!!

I love how the roles _immediately_ flip when the big lineman catches the ball! He's running for the inzone, and all of the small speedy guys that he usually protects, are blocking all of the incoming tackles. It's always satisfying to watch!

This really put a smile on my face, like the comradery that the whole team shows by blocking for the big men. The joy all the players show after completion of plays makes me smile like a child. I genuinely feel happy for the players.

There shouldn’t be any celebration penalties when there are big guy moments.

I think we as football fans are so happy to see a big man run the ball because the stereotype is if you are big and play football you are only there to block or to tackle. So when big guys defy this stereotype by having athletic ability, speed and scoring ability we can't believe it!
