I've likely said this before, but projects like this are, in a unique way, honoring those who served, Lost & Restored!
You're not supposed to chop up the Green soldiers but the TAN ones!
A good friend of mine did this, the hilt she made was similar to the Applegate-Fairbairn fighting knife. Looks amazing.
I aatch your channel with my daughter and she calls your channel 'Rust and Restored' (she's 9), but she likes watxhing your edits and cuts and especially now the jokes. She has an interest in woodworking and fixing old things that my dad has. Your channel gives her ideas. So if anything, you've inspired at least one person from the next generation and a girl on top of that. Thank you,
I would not have thought about using the leather dye and just put on wax. The dye gave it a really cool look! Beautiful work :)
Beautiful Bayonet Knife
This looks real good after renovation man
I love your sense of humor Mate and, you are an artiste with what you do with restorations. Cheers & Beers from Downunder.
You did fine young Skywalker
Super!!! It's a pleasure to watch!
Can't Arugula with those puns! ;)
Just super. The restoration is great! The shots in the video are amazing! Thanks, it was nice and interesting to watch. Good luck, bro!!!
smh over those puns…but you kicked ass on the handle fabrication!!🤯🤯
Hope you had good breathing protection when sanding the handle..!! Leather dust is as bad as asbestos. Nice work, I'd have gone for a more M3 groove pattern though.
YOU’RE SO AMAZING!!!! I’m running late because of holiday today in USA 🇺🇸 American soldiers are protect you. Troopers watched you to work on beautiful knife 🔪 Do Not Harm our Soldiers 😊🇺🇸🔪🔨🧰☮️ See ya next project!!!
Przepiękna jest ta zrobiona ta robota pozdrawiam twórcę tego filmiku serdecznie 👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful restoration well done
As always awesome work
Very well done!
That mark on the tang may have been made by the machine it was clamped in when the blade was originally ground.
Great work as always 😉😉
Beautiful job!
Nice job. I love your funny captions.
My only question is why not media blast the blade and tang on this one from the start? Then go into filing, sanding and polishing.
...LOOKIN' GOOD, NICE WORK, KEEP SAFE AND WELL..
Nice work.
Congratulations on 100K 🙂👍

Good job, continue
MASTERPIECE
You’re punbelievable
terrible jokes -- keep them coming they are great
Media blast it...
Knife you are restoring is a m7 bayonet the knife with the grips is an m4 bayonet. That's why the m4 is identical other than the slightly larger grips
i believe real m3 bayonets had 2 pins holding the hilt on. there should also be a makers mark of some sort on the blade or crossguard. I know over the years during and after ww2 various makers used different makers marks but all had 2 pins holding the pommel on. I could be wrong about that but dont think so. from what ive seen yours might be a repop from the ontario knife company
👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍
👍👍👍😎😎😎
The restoration part is fine. The jokes are lame and tiresome. Stick to what you do best.
