    ​​​@@rhy5play590 That was a *phonautograph,* created by *Edward Leon Scott de Martinville* , invented in 1857. The phonautograph didn't have video capability and was essentially an early experiment for recording sounds using paper. It was only until 1935 when a real camera with sound capability was released to the amateur market, *the RCA Victor Sound 16mm camera* , 21 years after this video was presumably recorded and approximately 17 years after World War 1 ended.
