As a belgian i can tell u abit more about that ambulance sound...it is turned on if there is detrimental risk to human lives,they got the regular us siren on usually but when ppl are too slow to get out the way this 1 is turned on to let u know its a matter of live and dead

Portugal's INEM ambulance sounds terrifying. I was going home at 22:00 and one of these passes by me and holy that was the creepiest sound ive ever heard

I’m more than used to the Chicago one at this point, but the Mexico one gave me full body chills. Super spooky stuff

That one sounds like a mix between carter air raid sirens and the chrysler civil defense siren, the first being scary, and the latter being scary and spooky

Those alarms are a little scary, but what's real scary is when you hear faint whispering coming from an unusually large crawlspace in between rooms of your home 😧

The fifth siren is what I hear when a tornado is approaching

Belgium needs to have a heart to heart talk with whoever made that ambulance siren. It sounds wonky and if I heard that on the road anywhere in the world, it'd take me at least 2 minutes to recognize it as a siren. Only then because of the pattern/sequence.

It's a Modulator 6024/6048 sounding in Alternate Wail, Chicago doesn't use this signal, likely because of the Siren Head kiddies. I personally still like Siren Head, in a good way

you can build some beats in the first siren, the 2nd one sounds like a crying cat, the third one sounds like a mcdonalds happy meal toy, the fourth one would actually be scary if you were in chicago at that moment, the fifth one is scary too if you were there. (basicly the first 3 are just jokes.)

When I was listening to the fallout one, I was expecting boss music to start playing.

1:37 is a EOW-612 Siren not modulator but they mostly have the same alert systems

Back in 2020 I made a siren that wasn't too loud, and I sounded it off in Alt wail whenever there was a severe thuderstorm. That thing's gone now and has been replaced by my mini Whelens I'm building.

I live in Chicago proper and have never heard that siren before. They test all the air raid/tornado sirens once a month.

It's programmed to do that tone. It's called Alternate Wail, it comes with every Federal Signal electronic siren control
