The crowd was into it, he was VERY into it, not to mention it was sung to perfection. That was likely the best opening national anthem I've ever seen. Would have been perfect if WV came out with a win, but that was still fantastic.

Thrilling! I've never heard a crowd sing the National Anthem so loud. It makes me tear up every time. Superb job by Mr. Murphy as well.

Isnt that pretty common in the United States? just asking. At least when i watch hockey games i often hear the crowd joining in.

It is common but at these WVU football games the marching band usually plays the Anthem. It is rare when we have someone singing so everyone joined in.

its an American thing. Im from new york and my highschool loves sports so at ever basketball game and football game we sing our hearts out when this comes on.

This is by far the best video I've seen of this. What a tribute to West Virginia this young man is. He should make all of proud and to remember that it takes hard work to accomplish your dreams and your goals.

I was there and it was a blast singing the anthem with him and 60,000 of my closest friends.

Outstanding video of Landau's wonderful performance!! This is the best one I have seen yet!! Its so nice to see a rendition of the National Anthem that is both beautifully sung and yet so easy for the crowd to sing along with. That is such a rare combination and is an awesome thing to witness, even via KZread! Its just a shame that ABC and ESPN did not have the guts to make an exception to their usual pre-game program format by broadcasting this for everyone to appreciate and enjoy.

Man of class deserves respect and admiration. I am glad Landau won.
