Sorry about your husband. But it's always been a goal of mine to take them back roads that lead to nowhere. Its beautiful. I just recently went to Ohio Pyle and then to WV its was a great trip just didn't have my bike but I will ride someday.

I am from West Virginia and spent many summers there growing up. All my extended family was there so even after we moved away, we went 'back home' several times a year in the 50's and 60's I was living in northern VA when my husband passed away in 2019 and I decided to relocate to Alabama where all my kids were. Before leaving, we took a road trip to West Virginia cuz I'm older now and don't travel well and knew that I would probably not be back there again- trip from Va was only 2+ hours, and it's much more than that from Alabama. It was such a blessing to be there again - I will always look back on that trip as one of the greatest pleasures in my later years. While we were there I said to my daughter - this is WHERE MY HEART LIVES! Sometimes you do get to 'go home again'.

This song gets me every single time... I may be from Scotland, but working away from home for so long as an EMT with this pandemic... I hear this song and it just hits home, I see you guys with the whole stadium singing along and it feels like I'm home... Take me home country roads... But take me home the LONG way via West Virginia so I can hear this epic song through the whole stadium for real one day! Once things settle and we can travel safely again, first thing I'm doing is coming straight over to see a game!!

Nothing's more emotional than an entire stadium singing the same song. Well this is rather an anthem! I'm from Italy and I feel chills on my back everytime I listen to it (and that happens very often). Well done WVU!

This is fantastic. I have been to mountains all over the world, and the most soulful and subtly beautiful place I have ever been is the Blue Ridge Mountains (I ended up moving there). The sense of community in this video belies what we hear everyday about a fractured US population - more brings us together than apart. From a USC Trojans alum, Go Mountaineers!

Lower student section looks empty. If it was non conference game, it should’ve been hella more packed. Wtf hell happened? Did it dip that low within last past 12years since I graduated.

10 years since I've graduated but have had season tickets every year since. The students just don't pack it anymore like we did during the white and Slaton years. If we play an unranked opponent they fill it up about halfway. The only time they are crazy anymore is if its a top 10 match up. They just don't show up anymore.
