Wroxham Norfolk

Wroxham and Hoveton St. John are two connected villages, split by the River Bure. Most of the village facilities are actually in Hoveton but are generally known as Wroxham - the capital of the Norfolk Broads. Boats of all kinds are for hire and there is also an abundance of hotels, pubs, restaurants, shops and a large department store. Most of the shopping is dominated by the Roys brand, claiming to be the world's largest village store! Wroxham contains many visitor attractions including a riverside park, Miniature Worlds indoor model museum, the Bure Valley steam railway and nearby Hoveton Hall gardens and Wroxham Barns craft centre. The village certainly is a busy spot in high season but is open all year round and is well worth a visit at any time of the year. A little way out of the village centre is Wroxham Broad, home to the Norfolk Broads Yacht Club. Large free car parks can be found behind Roy's department store.

For your information, Wroxham Barns is a "Leisure and shopping complex with boutiques, craft studios, a kids' farm, funfair and restaurant" situated about a 40 minute walk north of where you were first stood, which is actually just plain Wroxham. When you crossed the bridge you entered Hoveton. A good video and a good review but, regarding your local research, as my old school reports used to say, you "must try harder"

Thank you very much for the comment, I just wanted to clarify I do not set out on any of my videos to be fully caught up on the area or place I visit. I would hope from looking at most of my videos it's just a personal impression of where I am at the time. There are far too many on here doing the in-depth look, and probably doing it very well. I just set out to give my thoughts and feelings at the time, in I hope a light-hearted way. As we are all individuals I do things that i feel are right for me, in one take i may add no editing either lol, i don't set out to cause offence or be totally accurate on these, maybe i should be more so. However, the videos are really there for me, as enjoy doing them and i enjoy travelling to different places, in a way it's a permanent reminder to me and hopefully, my family of who i was in years to come when I'm no longer around, sound morbid lol but it's my epitaph. Norfolk also has a special place in my heart i had a property in Norfolk a few years back and intend to buy another in the forthcoming years. Also, i try to leave a more detailed piece of information in the description for people to look at. I will try harder to be a little more accurate however, haven't heard that since school, i liked the comment though, we could all do better by trying harder i think. I hope you enjoyed the feel of the video however, and if you took the time to comment, then I'm very grateful to you. I also hope you give me a kick up the behind again if you feel i could maybe make the videos more watchable, have a lovely day regards Paul

@@paulstewart100666 I did enjoy the video and was not trying to be a keyboard warrior. I love the Broads and I like it when it is promoted as you have done. I don't like it when a person puts up a video slating a place and/or the tourists who visit as it could be detrimental. There was one guy who posted a video about Wroxham/Hoveton who was scathing and negative: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m22nuqyckrjLpMY.html All my comments were at one point deleted but hey seem to, after a few years, have been shown again. I am afraid I did go a bit OTT on some of them but I hated the uncalled for vitriol.
