I'm a native speaker of Portuguese (a Romance language) and I think learning phrasal verbs difficult. So now I have a reason to avoid to use them: I am a very serious person. hahaha

This was extremely helpful! I am a native English speaker and had never understood the terms "idiom," and "imperative" I am also helplessly addicted to contractions when I write and have never heard of the term "phrasal verbs" Great!
