It’s nice to see that even someone who seems much more put together than I am also ends up doing assignments last minute

What Jade is talking about at 9:16- not knowing what you want to study/major in and really taking time to explore that... it's such a great way to approach university and life. Students who spend time as undecided majors or make a difficult choice to change majors are often some of the happiest alumni post graduation. A brilliant reminder to take the time to find what you love 😀

I had multiple breakdowns last week until I literally stopped crying, took a bath, and told my reflection that I needed to get my shit together. So this week I've been focusing on my mental and emotional wellbeing. I'm not as far ahead in school as I'd like to be, but i'm not behind + I've been feeling a lot better within myself :)

I have two work deadlines coming up & they’ve been stressing me out but you’re right - you just have to motivate yourself to get started and it’s usually not as bad as you think! Sending you positive vibes ☺️✨

YES JADE, I feel you. It is so hard to focus on one thing to study when you want to study it all! This has been a huge source of confusion in my life and I am constantly trying to do it all and study it all... and make sense of how ridiculous that is. I have chalked it up to different phases of life for focusing on certain things and it's helped me a lot :)

I love it when you share about what you're learning at the moment, it's always so interesting!

i'm doing assignments for my apprenticeship today, can't belive i managed 3 years at uni with essay writing, portfolios and performing multiple shows every term... just doing the notes is melting my brain! glad to see your video though, cheered me up

havent finished watching the video yet but its giving me old A-level Jade vibes. And then it just hit me how far you've come and how far I've come and how life has changed so much in these 3-4 yrs. It's a really comforting feeling.

i really really love it when you talk about your essays and what your learning, you make it all sound so interesting! i'm a student in high school but i would love to get the challenge of writing essays, sadly we never have to do that, but do you maybe have tips or even a tutorial for outlining and writing essays? i would love to try it in my spare time :)

I’ve always loved watching Vee’s essay vids and I’m happy you’re making them too haha :)

I really LOVE essays and what you could do to make them better is to organize your paragraph properly, along with an introductory sentence or two and a conclusion, I personally like to add something philosophical to it like for example, let's say it is an essay about trees or biology or something, I would place " taking care of trees are important, however we should not forget about all of the other beings that withholds life and purpose" as a conclusion.

I have an essay due Friday, and it was the best timing ever!

Hi jade, last night I planned to have a good day today despite a disappointment last night. You’re energy is perfect! Much love 💗 Also, on your chat about moral objectivity/societies (I study philosophy as a minor) I would argue that whole societies have morals in common, it goes down to the level of individuals within that society because everyone will consume different media and entertainment that may cause that person to form individuals opinions on the morals or different morals - so yeah, I kind of think morals go down to the individual!

Seeing Jade prepare for writing an essay when it’s one of those “I know what I’m doing and what I need done, I just have not done it..” I too, my friends, believe we all have got this. If you want a substantial tip: go into a thinking spree. Set a timer for like 15-20 min. Grab a notepad or pull your voice record app in your phone. And just let it out, let your mind run through everything you do know, or you want to know, and then just start… I promesa is not that bad, I’ve been there .. I’m still getting out

We also talked about Relativism and Universalism in the subject of Religion& Ethics and I couldn't come to a decision whether there are/ should be universal moral standards or not... Because somehow I want them to be there, because that would make it easier to justify and also condemn certain acts, but I also think that we can't measure other cultures with our values etc. So it's hard to define which standards should apply to all cultures.
