😱 It's pretty unbelievable that the driver of the first car/pickup truck was walking around after the accident. He must have an enormous big guardian angel. Congratulations 🎉 for having a sturdy stomach and really good nerves to be able to do the wrecker job. 2) I wish you to have a great day with your son at the tractor event. Happy birthday! Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards, luck and health in particular. To all of you of course.

My father always told me when I was growing up it's not about being in the right. If the other driver does something stupid and get into an accident you could be right. DEAD right, especially if you are on a pedal bike or a motor bike. He drove tow trucks for over twenty years and used to take me along on a lot of calls when I was a kid. That has stayed with me thru the years. The lessons he taught me about driving still ring in my ears 35 years after he passed away.

When you extrapolate what you showed us here, from the counties you cover with your wrecker service, to the nation as a whole, it's violent auto carnage 24/7 in America!! "OD'ed while driving down the road," says all you need to know about the drug problem in rural America. Likewise with your decision not to get into some of these cars because of the danger of fentanyl! What a world we live in! Stay safe Jonathan W! Thanks for your channel!

I'm really awed by how well our cars and trucks are engineered for crashes. If you hadn't said that none of those wrecks were fatal, I would have guessed that the big majority would have been deaths. That first truck especially was amazing. I first thought that the motor had been pulled. I couldn't believe that it had been pushed back that far and didn't hurt the driver. The gentleman who had a tree fall while he was driving really brings home the fact that no matter how carefully you drive, we're never really in control.

Happy birthday JW 👍. Wreck’s happened in a split microsecond. My wife cousin just wrecked here in Florida she’s from Horseshoe NC. Her passenger is in the hospital with a broken neck and hip. She thought the light turned green and ran it. The passenger seen what was doing but couldn’t get her name out. When a Nissan pickup creamed her. Luckily the post between the two doors kept the truck from crushing her passenger. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Jonathan. These are always sobering to see, and also affirming to see the level of protection the passenger cabin is designed for. Makes you think and knocks a little complacency out of people each time. In conjunction with Jonathan's wrecked vehicle compilations, I would recommend a little casual viewing on the "dash-cam accident" or "bad driver compilation" channels that are littered all over KZread. Those make you think about how you might be making the same mistakes behind the wheel and how to avoid such incidents. 👍

Happy birthday, Jonathan! The good thing is modern cars are much stronger than old stuff, with crumple zones, safety cells, multiple airbags, seat belt pretensioners, ABS and stability control. Accidents like the 2014 Chevrolet featured would not have been survivable in a 1970s vehicle. I love my 1978 Cadillac but I also know it's not as safe as my Mk VII VW Golf SportWagen.

Holidays were never a holiday for me because that was usually when everything happened.

My babysitter and neighbor's boyfriend 40 something years ago hit a maple tree driving some early 70s land yacht at an estimated speed of 130mph. The dash and part of the firewall was the only thing wrapped around the tree with a full unopened beer setting on it. The engine and transmission were never found and were belived to have crossed the North bound George Washington Parkway lanes and went into the Potomac River. 6 kids died instantly and as of 3 years ago that tree is still there in the median. Between drug overdoses and accidents as an addict myself I never thought I'd live to my current 53 years especially with the way people I grew up with died from prescription pain meds ironically in my case from hitting a semi at 50mph in 99. I was fine untill I wasn't like that guy you saved. Happy birthday. My last 14 have been clean ones.

Happy Birthday to you, Jonathan! What surprised me was that you got your first Moto Guzzi wreck. Those are big and fast motorcycles, so I wouldn't be surprised if the driver wouldn't have been "pushing it" a bit. On a motorcycle, you always need to have at least two safe escape moves planned at all times, and that definitely requires being moving. May you keep on being safe and stay healthy!

Man, it’s going to cost a bunch to fix that 2014 Silverado, good thing he has insurance! Lol You said something about the old man that was in the car the tree fell on wasn’t in a life threatening condition, it looked like it was life threatening until he ducked across the seat. Quick thinking on the old guys part, he must be pretty sharp to know what to do and do it in a second or two. The Lord wasn’t ready for him yet. It’s amazing how bad some of those cars are wrecked (a pickup truck that had tree smashed all the way to the top of the windshield and ripped the engine completely out of it) and people walk away with their lives. It seems like cars and trucks these days are built out of thin metal and plastic but the engineering and safety devices are letting people live after their vehicles get destroyed. Thanks for sharing and making us think about our driving habits and how we should be more careful about our driving and the defensive driving we usually don’t think about. Thanks for cleaning up our roads after these accidents, it’s a hard job that someone has to do. Happy Birthday and hope you have a great day!🎉🎂🇺🇸

I have a bunch of old cars but consider my 59 bird one of the safest cars built due to heavy metal, massive engine and inner fenders welded to the frame. Several years ago had another one and wish I didn't know how strong those cars are. All my old cars including a prewar sedan cruiser have front disk brakes and shoulder restraint belts. Urban driving on the defense every second. I consider controlled crush a scam to save material. Wheel base, weight and torque keeps me and the oil companies happy.

Thank you. I too was like some of these people out there. I use to speed just a bit, text and drive, or even multi-task no I've never myself wrecked due to it but I have been hit 2x due to the other person's negligence but I had already long ago decided to reexamine my ways of driving. I thought what the heck am I doing all this dumb stuff for, on the 2ed wreck I had just started not to long before that was stopping about 3/4 of a car length away glad I did as it saved me from hitting the Family in front of me when they decided to pull back after trying to cross to the other side then pull back last minute. I got hit from behind due to the young man being on his cell phone.
