Back when I was a volunteer firefighter/EMT I had numerous late night / early mooring calls like that. We used to kid they always came in threes. We had a state trooper directing traffic one night when both lanes of the expressway was shut down from a multicar accident and traffic had to drive on the shoulder. One woman refused to slow down and the tropper launched his Maglite at her windshield, she slowed down then and got a ticket for failure to yield to emergency personnel.
