I was a volunteer fire fighter for 12 years until I had to retire. I seen a lot happen in those years and I know from 1st hand experience that wrecker drivers don't get enough credit for what they do. Thank you for your service!

Back when I was a volunteer firefighter/EMT I had numerous late night / early mooring calls like that. We used to kid they always came in threes. We had a state trooper directing traffic one night when both lanes of the expressway was shut down from a multicar accident and traffic had to drive on the shoulder. One woman refused to slow down and the tropper launched his Maglite at her windshield, she slowed down then and got a ticket for failure to yield to emergency personnel.

I have driven across the US, commuted 2 hours each way to jobs, and drove Jacksonville, Fl to Augusta,Ga every 2 weeks and made 2 single round trip runs Jacksonville to Roanoke,Va. Glad I retired from electrical construction and maintenance.

Nice work. I towed for 20 years, retired to the farm now. Sure don't miss those dark rainy night calls or handling the chains with no gloves (: Funny how people who have a habbit of wrecking their cars like to live accross the street from tow truck drivers. I had a couple nieghbors like that too.happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Thanks for showing us how hard and dangerous your job is. I love how people don't slow down or move over by a wreck knowing there are workers there clearing the road. It doesn't matter what kind of vehicle you have, if you don't drive right, you or your vehicle will be meeting you for a ride along. You take care because you are a valuable member of society.

Here in Kentucky you are suppose to go into next lane when you see a wrecker or tow truck operating. Law states, Go over or be pulled over because it is against the law to drive next to operator during operation. A lot of operators are killed each ear because of Rubber Nickers and the State police or Sheriff really crack down. Love the videos and the explaining what's happening even in the dark.
