Phew, after years of grinding, I finally achieve a perfect run against Phalanx, the secret optional boss of this game. It feels like yesterday when I first got my hands on this game 7 months ago, and to think that I am achieving a WR despite the mistakes I've made, this feeling is truly amazing!

In case you couldn't tell, both the update and this video is for the special occasion of April 1st. Honestly though, it is really an elaborated joke, and definitely not worth all the efforts put into re-skinning the entire set of sprites, but what can I say, that was fun!

Was this only on computer version cuz I didnt c it on switch

Unfortunately, this update is indeed PC-exclusive and available for the duration of April 1st only. As of now, the game has been reverted back to v1.2.5. For players on the Steam version, however, they can opt into a "Beta Branch" to experience v1.2.5a again, detailed more in the announcement posts on reddit and Steam. But since this option only exist on Steam, the Switch version will not be receiving this elaborated joke update.

It's a Steam-exclusive "joke build" that the dev released on April 1st a few yaers ago. You will need to opt into a "Beta Branch" to switch to this version (v1.2.5a). You can learn more about it in the announcement posts on reddit and Steam, linked in the video description.
