Brittney has a VOICE. There is such power and emotion there. And, the whole production is Ayreon, and you just can't get any better than that.

I feel like Arjen constructed this song with almost an Unleash the Archers level of speed and complexity, like he was making a familiar musical space for Brittney... works very well, obviously!

This track is from the Star One album Revel In Time. Star One is another project of Arjen. All Star One Songs are based on movies and each album is themed around a movie genre. The Revel In Time album is themed around time travel movies.

I just love it when they have such fun on stage. and Britney slays.....lol

"That dude" on the keyboards is SIR Joost van den Broek, also lovingly called "LUL" by his friend Arjen.

I was lucky enough to be at the concert with my two boys last september 2023. It was amazing to witness this rock opera. We are hoping Arjen will come with his next concert in 2025. Which album? Maybe The Source ?

And the best part is: in the universe of Ayreon, there's no place for egos! Every contributing artist has a genuine connection to the other artists and musicians! If there's some artist there with an ego, they're sure not to return next time! And Arjen can meanwhile pick just ANY artist: when Arjen calls, you sure want to answer the phone!

You should buy this DVD. It is such an amazing concert. Forget about alcohol. Forget about drugs. Just listen to this complete concert. It will give you a high from pure endorfine expanding your lifespan almost indefinitely. Ayreon is a life changer. Rise up a big statue for mister Arjen Lucassen!!

This was amazing. I'm not super familiar with Ayreon but from the stuff i've heard so far, i can tell Arjen is a freaking wizard.

I absolutely love this song!!! I sing to this all the time! It's cool having Irene (Irene, Floor's sister) and Marcela Bovio doing the backup vocals! 🤘 Plus the Terminator is one of my favorite movies 🥰, which is the story this song is inspired by. Actually, this Album by Arjen Anthony Lucassen which is Revel in Time is inspired by Scifi movies. Each song is based on different movies. You should check out Lost Children of the Universe, another song in this album that is based on the movie Interstellar. The singers are Roy Khan previously with Kamelot/Tony Martin, who sang with Black Sabbath for a bit. It also features Steve Vai for an epic solo!!! You will absolutely love this one!

I was pretty impressed and surprised when Brittney came out during Age of Shadows and slayed Floor's operatic parts. I was fully expecting either Simone or Floor's sister to do those parts.

Yesss, more Ayreon! and Star One! they're all such excellent musicians! you should totally check out the other videos they have out of this show too, but then again I'd tell you to check everything they all ever did, including each of the guests' bands too lol 😅

You definitely need more Ayreon. It’s a moral imperative! There is plenty of live footage to choose from. I could find a playlist so I don’t know what to recommend. How about Valley of the Queens.🤘🎸

Little FYI, you may not have recognised the white guitar player since he's had his hair cut, that's Timo Somers formally of Delain.

When I started listening to Ayreon a few years ago, I think I found them through a suggestion from iTunes, and I listened to everything that I could. I never even considered at the time that they could do live shows because of how many artists from other bands were involved. What Arjen consistently does with this project just blows me away. 🤘🤘

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Very few vocalists are on Floor Jansen's level -- and Brittney Slayes is unquestionably one of them. I mean, what else can you say about a metal singer, Brittney, that actually subbed for Floor, and sang her vocal parts, because Floor was unable to? Because Brittney did that at an Ayereon show (not sure of which show, however). Then add in the fact Floor's sister Irene was singing backup here, a vocalist in her own right, and the only thing I can say is, Arjen puts together shows that might as well be called "The All-Stars of Metal." And speaking of Arjen: I highly recommend reacting to the video Arjen saw that impressed him with Brittney: A 2017 karaoke video in a Scotland pub where Brittney was singing Queen of the Reich by Queensryche. This video was at the end of Unleash the Archers' European tour for Apex album, and Brittney blew the roof off that pub, despite having already sung a 90-minute set with her band. One of the times you hear Brittney, and her voice gives you chills.

Floor was about to give birth during the live shows. Arjen didnt want Britney just to come and sign a few Floor lines (theres not really much of them on the album) so he added this Star One song to the setlist so Britney could show of her own vocal prowess and be inducted in the Ayreon family not as a sub but as rightfully acclaimed sister.

Ever since my first introduction to Unleash the Archers, Brittany has been someone I really look forward to seeing. Here, she gives a brilliant performance with her usual powerful and clear voice. Top notch!

Hey, funny you put this out today, I just got this concert on Bluray in the mail yesterday! I'm looking forward to watching it in the next couple days, maybe tonight. Arjen's music always makes me feel better. FYI, if you look at the lyrics you'll see this song is about the movie Terminator lol "Knowing no fear, feeling no pain No grief, no compassion, no guilt and no shame Built to attack, hе will be back! The fate of man liеs in his hands!"

This had a great throwback feel to it and the singing in this was so good in spite of the fact that the mix is not great. I don't know a ton about this band but after this im gonna do a deep dive. Great stuff.
