For our home, meal time is connecting with other family members over food. We talk to each other ask how was your day etc. single people either watch tv, read paper , do puzzles while eating. We do not sit side by side but opposite of each other and have eye contact. We not just look at plate and eat like there is no tomorrow but it is time to mix and mingle as they say. It is rather enjoyable event not gulping of food. ☮️☮️
