I got a 2018 107 fxbr. Love it. TBH, I bought it mostly for the badass back tire. Lol. And I'm 64 yrs old! In '18, they were a combo of black and chrome. I like the tank accent/trim on the new tank.
Did up my Honda 90 -- straight piped it. Brutal! Getting looks from the babes; as well as a surprising number of dudes. Feels good to be a member of the exhaust community. see all y'all on the road

I'd definitely change the bars big fat set of Harley chizzle bars and a quarter fairing also from Harley. Hey its my bike and it's a Harley - anyone has a problem with how it looks,that's their problem,not mine. A very good review that gave me a good feeling for how the bike rolls. I'm 5'8 so I'm not sure how I'd get on with the snorkel air filter. There are solutions.

It's a stunning thing but maybe a little too straight line focused for the UK so I'd probably consider the FatBob or the Lowrider S if I had to have the 117. Weirdly I love split indicators and was upset when BMW stopped using them.

I bought the 2023 breakout and bumped it up to stage 1. It was a great town bike, but for any distance it just wasn’t practical. I traded it in for a low rider s and think that was the right choice. However, I had to spend a lot of extra cash to get the low rider where I wanted it to be.
GREAT VIDEO
Pleasant Morning :) waiting for next one
My wife loves it. I just got her the Black Denim and it looks and feels wayyyy better than 114 she had before. 117 should be the standard now. Even though my new 117Street Glide ST comes with performance cams from the factory just like the CVO, this 117 on this Breakout is plenty of power and the chrome actually looks amazing with this bike. This is what Harley should be. BTW Nice video and good info.

I just purchased a new 2023 Breakout a few weeks ago. First time to ever ride a Harley, and I was sold on this bike. Mine has traction control and you can turn it on or off easily from the right hand turn signal button. I agree the bars look great but won't be comfortable for longer rides. I was expecting the bike to be quicker with the 117. It seemed to struggle to keep up at highway speed and didn't want to lean into corners. Does the wide rear tire and short suspension travel make the bike feel sluggish? It's a nice looking bike for sure.

Great video and ride review but that gap during the Demo Ride.. my gosh... First you say that you're doing it 'on purpose' to 'pop that gas' yet it does not seem like you have ever done so. Not only that; you're barely at the speed limit almost the entire time. I just feel bad for the riders behind you who wanted a tad more from the demo ride (other than a leisurely cruise). I am just surprised no one has decided to pass you at that point. 🙂 Looking forward to testing the bike when our Demo Truck arrives towards the end of April. Take care!

Good points but I was the at the end of the line except for a sweeper who knew I was videoing. Speed limit is 55 on that road. I was at 55-65 most of the time with a few jumps to 75 and you're correct - I never got to really lay on the throttle like I had hoped. There’s also a lot you don’t see in the video due to editing because of me stumbling over a fact or words or pausing to remember something. Try it sometime, isn’t not as easy as you may think. 🙂

Odd to see an experience driver in the middle of the road where the oil is. Debating if I need something with a windshield
@trippontwowheels
Жыл бұрын
What people fail to realize is the middle also has more texture as it’s not as worn down - which can give more traction and compensate. If wet, keep to the sides. If not, I have no problem with the middle position. There’s some experience for you. As far as windshield, a small fairing should work well. It’s no long distance bike.

Clamshell position and wider bars will get to you after a while, but it's also not a touring bike. I personally can do 2-3 hours no problem, but if you have back problems I wouldn't recommend it. You don't buy a Breakout without realizing that foot-forward, hunched riding position is part of the deal.

Every generation of HD is worse and worse. I don't know, where they go for design. Empty front, drivers pegs too much in front, brake pedal is front of frame. Seat looks absolutely badly and everything is killed by passenger footpegs between the exhaust tubes. Handlebars looks like from metal waste found somewhere, because they were not able to fit the welded narrow the ends so that it is not visible. I don't know, if the yellow band on the right side of handlebars is super feature from manufacturer, or it happened later. The huge chrome part that covers the primary drive could somehow be made much more beautiful. I thought that they also know how to make the rear light more beautiful and not such a plastic lump. And thats all for 21 thousands plus tax. Great. Indians must be rolling on the ground laughing. One positive, the left side of the engine does not look like it was shot with a machine gun.
