@ChippenDonNorberg Because it switches to HD streaming, which needs more bandwith and CPU power. Try clicking the little "720" button on the bottom right of the screen and setting it down a notch.

@erkkari when are we supposed to be able to interrupt the knockback? since it still has the 0.5 sec cast time when we pick up drake. Also what difference does it make if we pick up the 100% attackspeed drake. the boss still has the same buff. ive talked to people on mmo-champion and a GM, GM said that our drakes are working and intended and some setups might be alot harder than others and that's a luck draw each week. MMO-champion folk said the buffs were to be reduced if we activate dragons.

Think you could turn on class-colored bars in the raid frames so we can see your raid comp, or do you greatly prefer having the green bars? Just curious to see who's what.

Would you recommend using the frostfire bolt glyph and replacing fireball with it? Or is it six and half a dozen weather we mages want to stick with good ole' fireball?

One question: I and some friends did this boss (never downed him, but got close 7m hp was the best). We didn't get the "spinny thing" but rather furious roar the 3 stuns from 50% to when we finally wiped. So is it safe to say that the last/final ability of the boss is dependent on the drakes you have up?

@Catherel Are you sure it's Zin'rokh? That was my first thought but I wasn't sure. If so I'm pretty happy, I had that back when ZG came out. It's pretty much the coolest sword in the game, rivaled only by Ashkandi imo.

@Priimestat If you check the date you can see it was back when fire spec was the top DPS out of most if not all classes. Arcane has caught up NOW so now they are pretty much equal dps-wise (according to stateofdps).

what did you guys do as far as the time warp dragon?

@Wargargble Name a 10 man boss that has 70m hp. Perhaps there is one, but I can't think of it off the top of my head. Lich King Heroic 10 has 29mil.

@erkkari - On our raid lockout the drakes were 100% attackspeed, Stacking MS effect and the knockback thing. We tried all drakes and the boss did NOT loose any of his buffs and we were still facing 100% attackspeed, non interuptable aoe knockback aswell as 90% healing reduction of each of our 2 tanks (10man) in less than 20seconds. Having that fast stacking on healing reduction almost forces us to go with 3 tanks 3healers and 2 dps since the debuff has a 30second cooldown. This has to be a bug.

@WoWfReAKah That's just the default raid frames. You can try it out on live too, since it's in 4.01

Don't know if somebody else already said this, but I think they have the stone drake in the back because they are trying to not have the random meteor magically appearing out of no where.

@vivamexico814 In 4.0.1, I think it is. If I remember correctly, it's the same cast time and tooltip listed damage and when glyphed adds a DoT to it.

@kaasboy67 because the frostfire has a stacking debuff on the boss for 1 thing, and also fireball and frostfire bolt deal about the same damage (with fireball doing like .01% more damage then FFB)

@erkkari didn't happen on our lockout. boss still had 100% attackspeed and 0.5sec cast time on knockback.. guess some bugs are to expect in the first weeks of raiding.

Healing seems to be at a somewhat slower pace, as in if you don't heal someone at half health they aren't going to get one-shot within 3 seconds. Is this sort of healing the norm in Cataclysm?

@eppinizer This is generally it, with larger health pools healing becomes more focused around rotation rather than spamheals. Though saying that, if anyone deserves to die they will.

Im curious on the tacs if you get the 100% attackspeed on boss, Stacking MS and non interruptable knockback... i mean it's retarded how much tank damage it is + the reduction on healing + the constant knockbacks interrupting half of all our big heals. spamming fast big heals will OOM healers before 1 drake is down.
