WOULD YOU WALK ON THIS GLASS BRIDGE IN CHINA?? | Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie

China seems to have a fascination with glass bridges in crazy locations lol. This happens to be one of the highest at 4600ft above sea level, near the top of Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie. This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the area, known also for its epic cableway that is one of the longest in the world! Let me know in the comments if you would walk on this crazy glass bridge!

Hello, I would like to recommend Huangshan Mountain in Anhui Province, China. "Huangshan Mountain" is a very magnificent and beautiful mountain, which is completely different from the mountain in Zhangjiajie. There are well-preserved ancient villages under the mountain, and it has been rated as a world natural heritage by the United Nations. I promise you will like it!

The last 30+ years, at least most Chinese can speak or understand Mandarin Chinese. Back in the 1980s and early 1990s, many different places spoke different dialects and the people in their 40s or even 30s could hardly speak Mandarin, let alone a foreign language, English.

I was there in the Zhangjiajie Park area two weeks ago, with my 86-year-old dad. He might be the oldest guy there then. More than a few people who marvelled at the scenery also marvelled at him walking on the mountaintops, with a cane in his hand. Great experiences. Foreigners were few and far in between, but I did cross paths with Russians, Germans and Africans. In Canada now, but planning to go back there someday and spend more time there.

I am so glad that you have made your trip to this incredible scenery location. I am so amazed by the infrastructure that have been built in many of the popular scenery and hard to get to destination. Because of this, people are able to reach to and witness some of the most spectacular sceneries and landscapes that you would not be able to get to them if there is no such infrastructures built.

Btw, Zhangjiajie was the only place I got robbed, by two monekys, they even took my sunglasses and all of my snacks fruits. That said, I’m in the same place as you about high places and what made me less jittery about it was the beautiful views, all the attractions and it must be said the glass bridge was the highlight of the experience. Alina, now its true given your impressions of Tianmen Mountain, with the limited time you have in China, you’re probably wishing you could stay longer and properly see everything the country has to offer but that’s not possible in your current circumstances. Great video! Love the booties for the glass walk. You did the reverse route that I did. Stairs were open I climbed up all 999 of them. Going down that gondola into the city at sunset was amazing and then explore and eat 😁😁

Population at every place 😊. That expression of fear in the glass bridge walk itself is entertainment for people. That is an experience, and so they take that experience.

Excellent footage ! By the way, glass or Silica as it is known (SiO2) in its basic chemical formula is such a diverse platform, and depending of the processes that we put it though, it could be very strong and durable indeed. For example, fiberglass is a derivative of glass which is used in boatbuilding, or Pyrex which can withstand high temperatures. Have fun!
