@@CheekyBreeky77mostly hammer heads (endangered) great whites and another species native to parts of Asia like the whale shark (also endangered) they are used to make shark fin soup where the fins are chopped off the shark and the shark is thrown back in to drown and the worst part is the fin is mostly cartilage so it adds absolutely nothing to the soup

Be sure to get the shark fresh, if it's been left for a while it'll begin producing ammonia. Although I remembered that in Iceland they'd fermented the shark, smoked it and eat it

That looked delicious. I was always told try things twice. You may have it the first time and not like it due to how it was prepared but done differently it may taste better. I have family members that tried venison for the first time but they cooked it well done, so it was like shoe leather. I cooked it for them to try again and cooked it to medium, they don't like there red meats very bloody, and they ate it all.

ALL sharks and many larger fish are being overharvested--not to mention that they serve as carbon captures, so the less biomass in our oceans, the more free carbon there is. Carbon which was previously locked within the earth's crust in solid--not gaseous--form. This is a major issue. Our oceans are emptying, and at an alarmung rate. We still know very littlw about things likw breeding and birthing patterns on many many species of sharks, and they're being fished out of oue oceans before we can learn enough to help.

Shark is one of the most poisened fish you can eat for it being the garbage man of the ocean all the bad stuff that small fish already consume end up in him and it is just not healthy or necasseray to eat.

I have. They used to have them at the market when I was little. I didn’t like it. Haven’t tried it since.

yes, I've had shark, and omg, my step dad's friend caught it and made amazing shark tacos with it. It just melted in your mouth, but I've heard other people try and cook it before, and it just comes out super tough. Also, I do love sharks so I wouldn't eat it all the time, I had it when I was 6, and now I'm 18, so it's something maybe people should at least try once if they love fish or maybe if you don't like fish because it was that good
