Great vid. Thanks. Yours are always useful. Yep got an allocation as i'm a nutter whose bought loads of stuff from my P dealer. They're only getting one Weissach Taycan Turbo GT and feel rightly chuffed they're sending it my way. Sometime in 2024 but dunno when yet. Need to sell my Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo which has taken a rockfall in depreciation.

I just bought a Taycan S in San Marino Blue and absolutely love it. Therefore, I wouldn't consider getting a GT. The speed is, in my opinion, pointless and unusable. However, I did invest in new number plates because I dislike the green EV club strip. It looks cheap, especially when it doesn't complement certain colours. By the way, thanks for all the videos; they were incredibly helpful for my research. I haven't watched them all yet, but it's on my to-do list. Take care.

Bit of an unusual model, in some ways a disappointment: heavily limited to only one or two cars per dealer apparently, only 0.1 seconds faster to 60mph than the updated Turbo S, you lose 50 miles of range, it’s £25k more, you lose the back seats with the Weissach pack, and only two motors. Only really feasible for EV Porsche collectors who are on very good terms with their OPC. It’s really just a showcase halo model for top customers. Anyone who walks into a dealer asking for one will be directed to a Turbo S. My guess is they’re saving the top quad motor Rimac tech for the Mission X. With the extra 50 miles of range, I suspect the Turbo S is overall a better car.

It's the same constant bhp as the Turbo S, yes, but some of the big numbers are staggering. 4.5 seconds to 100mph. That's got to be close to teleportation 😆

@@TABonTV yes very quick, although not too far in front of the Turbo S time of 5.2 seconds to 100mph. Ultimately, I think it’s disappointing that they are limiting production so much, and they are definitely holding back the tech for another model by not having three motors. Most people who actually want one won’t be able to order one. Congrats if you do manage to get one!

@@TABonTValso the two new colours, Pale Blue and Purple Sky Metallic, are only unique to the GT for 12 months. After that they will available to other models.

Hi. I don't want a GT for following reasons: 1. Where in hell could I use the car? On the Nürburgring, yeah, sure. But I have to drive about 750 km one way to do so. 2. It's a 4 door sedan with 2 seats! 🤔 Okay if I had a garage near Nürburgring an could fly by privat jet every weekend down there to give the GT a ride......😅 3. It costs about 240.000 Euro 💶 naked, with Weissach just some thousands extra. Maybe about 30k or 40k?? 4. Is it Wort the money? Of course it is, because there are just a few who will be sold and a GT is always a guaranteed investment! If you don't drive it too much. So if you have too much money and have to get it invested, then the GT is good for your car collection! 👍 Do you need it? It's just in your opinion if you got to get it or not... So overall the new Taycan Facelift Turbo S will be enough for the normal use. More space for you and your passengers, more power and efficiency than the prefacelift and a better software than the prefacelift. Still hoping that the prefacelift gets an update to the new PCM interface... 😉 Thanks for the video and take care! 👍 👈🙋🏼‍♂️

Have a look at the configurator - it's now out. You can have the GT with 4 seats - Weissach pack deletes the rear seats - but it's the same price for both configs, which I think is a good call by Porsche. Stay well!

It's only dual motor. You can watch the specs and so on in the top gear video on the taycan gt.
