WOULD - English Grammar - How do I use 'would' correctly?

WOULD | English MODAL VERBS
WOULD doesn't have one specific definition. You need to learn WHEN to use 'would'.
Many times, it's about memorizing phrases. Let's look at WOULD together step-by-step.

Dear Arnel, I would like to say I've watched practically all your videos in KZread, which I believe have helped me a lot. Thank you so much. Below is my summary about how to use WOULD. And I think there're 7 common uses. What do you think ? Is there anything more ? 1: Making request in a super polite way. ex: would you mind turning down the music ? and I think it's like 'could you turn down the music, please ? ' 2: A polite way to say 'I want' ex: I would like to hear something interesting is more polite than I want to hear something interesting. 3: Reported speech.(future in the past) ex: He just said he would buy me a car. 4: Refusal (a polite way to refuse a person's request) ex: are you coming to my birthday party tomorrw ? I would like to, but I'm working all day tomorrow. 5: Repeated actions in the past. ex: I'd play basketball after school when I was a teenager. 6: Giving suggestion. ex: my ex-girlfriend invited me to her wedding. I wouldn't go. (if i were you) 7: Imaginary or unreal situation. A: imaginary situation in the present or future ex: I'd buy a big house for my parents if I had one million dollars. ex: If I didn't have a car, I would walk my kids to school. ex: If I were taller a bit, I would play basketball in the NBA. B: imaginary situation in the past. ex: If you'd been one minute late, you would've missed that train. ex: If I'd studied harder in school, I would've become a lawyer.

Definitely it is best explanation what I see before. 4:16 But one more of my opinion is do not say about contract due to reason of the fact that we are pupils who are needed in clear pronounce to listen what native English speakers who are bringers of knowledge say us about. It is, at least in my opinion, only way for us to be aware in English language.
