In today's lesson, we're looking at CAN, COULD and BE ABLE TO. Just like other modal verbs, CAN and COULD have specific rules which can often be confusing. But don't worry, I break the grammar down into 6 steps: ability, possibility, permission, suggestions, requests and offers.

    Excellent video that doesn't complicate the meaning and highlights the grammatical differences. I have recommended this for my students Arnel. Love the use of graphics to show the options, then eliminate the options while also using your voice to highlight the strange or unnatural options just like a teacher would. Love it.

    I think she uses the PowerPoint program. There are a lot of good tools in it, but we need to know how to use them and she's already a pro at it. In fact, we need patience, time and skill for a job to be as good as hers. *Arnel* wonderful work, as always! 😉

    The teacher would usually just respond with a 'yes, of course' or a 'yes, you can', not a question ;)
