Before banning seed oils, at least stop *subsidizing* sweetener, grain, and seed oil production. Next either get rid of the food pyramid or redo it so that 1. Meat is the big base 2. Seafood, eggs, and full-fat dairy (for those who are not allergic) in the next layer 3. Non-starchy vegetables in a small layer near the top, and 4. Fruits (especially ones that are not super sugary) in a tiny spot at the top.

@@ladyfarrier5949 I carefully avoid seed oils, though I seldom ask restaurants about them. I wonder if the reason I occasionally feel unwell after eating in a restaurant is because of the oils. There seems to be a correlation between cheaper meals and more indigestion. Also, I suspect that restaurants in more intellectual zip codes tend to use better oils.

100%. Vote with your wallet everyday. Industry will respond. First, with cheaper products to flood the unfortunates who do not know the science. This is happening now in the cereal category. Then, they will work on ways to fool you -like the Tufts "Food compass" saying Fruit Loops and Lucky Charms are healthier than meat and eggs. This is a case study of industry propaganda, and the stakes are life and death. The strategies have been in place for almost a century.

It is illegal to import food from the states due to the chemical, pesticides, preservatives, GMO, dies, etc. The people are so much healthier as well. I think you had some wrong information Czech consumers have discovered the tastiness of chilled high-quality U.S. beef which has become a very promising prospective U.S. product for the Czech market. (HS code: 0201) Meat (especially beef) and meat products, dried nuts and fruits, chocolate snacks, coffee and cocoa, wine and spirits, and frozen fish are the most widely imported consumer-oriented products from the USA to the Czech Republic. The Czech market offers good opportunities for U.S. exporters of selected products for the local food processing and food service industries as well as consumer-oriented products. Local food retailers, food service companies, and wholesalers usually do not buy directly from the United States. Instead, they work with specialized local or even more often foreign (German, Dutch) traders. These traders look for long-term partnerships rather than a one-off business transaction. All leading food retailers in the Czech Republic are part of large German or British retail groups. The top three companies (Schwarz Group, Rewe, Ahold) have a 59 percent market share. With a turnover of $2.9 billion and boasting 267 outlets, discounter Lidl (German) became the country’s leader among grocery retail chains. The Schwarz Group-owned retailer has had a presence in the country since 2003. The Czech Republic is experiencing an internet retail boom, including online shopping for all food categories. The trend began in 2017 and was strengthened by the COVID-19 pandemic. Grocery and food service delivery are the most popular businesses, challenging companies to focus on innovation and a customer-care approach. Food and beverage production is an important industry accounting for 7 percent of the GDP. The most important subsectors include meat, dairy, and milling/bakery ingredients. For the beverage industry, ingredients for brewing beer, particularly hops, are interesting niche products imported from the USA

While I have yet to *check* out Prague, my experience in Switzerland was similar. The food was healthy and delicious. At first, I asked if their packaged dairy products were real, and people thought that was a strange question. Then I realized that all those cows on every verdant hillside were there for a good reason, and I stopped asking such dumb questions. [When visiting a hospital in the US, I asked if some dairy products were real, was told they were, and then found they were mainly seed oils and sweeteners.🤮🤮🤮]

Though it is inevitable when the problem becomes so widespread it be burdensome affecting society as a whole. And especially kids have limited power over their "journey" if their parents are uneducated or negligent. Damage done in physical or mental aspect can be difficult to fix later. Some will not be fixed, one example for instance premature births because the mother is obese which typically leads to a handful of neuropsychological disorders that can be very severe plus it requires a considerable amount of years of isolation because the immune system is not developed which has additional negative impact from a mental health aspect.

If what I heard is true I don’t have a problem with an actual animal product being added to our food supply but what I do have a problem with is how, if it is true, they prepare pink slime to be used. It is cleansed with an ammonia gas that by itself is reported to kill, if spilled, all microbes it is in contact with. This ammonia gas is banned for this use in both Europe and Canada yet it is called to be used as a filler for ground beef in the United States. What is the ethical excuse for this? There are already communities of carnivore and ketogenic diets catching on with many success stories. This may provide more traction. @@decolonizeEverywhere because although I like many of Kennedys ideas he's still too far to the Left for me. Trump isn't really a Republican establishment figure. He's a nationalist, populist candidate, and anti establishment, lije the same people who have set the incorrect foid pyramid and forcing you off animal products. Never vote for a person or party who tells you what to eat, and then forces you to do so.

From my observations Trump was more willing, as president, to go against the status quo if he felt it was the right thing to do. He kept more of his promises than any other president in my memory including Ronald Reagan. He's rich, but he has no known ties to big food or big pharma. And I think the whole Covid thing was a huge eye-opener to him just as it was a lot of Americans. We'll see what happens. But I agree that just having a presidential candidate bring this up is HUGE! But, he's just one person. We all have to make and demand better choices and support the real food producers. Just my two-cents.

Honestly, I don't know. I would definitely vote for the lesser of the evils, obviously. But as far as putting him on a pedastol, no. I trust no one. People seem to forget that Trump promoted the V*ccines also, and he's still trying to take credit for "OPERATION WARP SPEED." That's a RED flag. Too many people died. To me, the whole thing could potentially be a show. Only God could turn this Country around if we allow Him to reign again. Like Bishop Fulton Sheen once said... "There is a supernatural phenomenon that occurs every single time we take God out of country, and that is Communism." We still have not brought God back, and therefor, historically speaking, nothing is going to change. The Polish people can testify how fast they changed their ways after they were nearly exterminated in 1945 by the Nazis, they now know the importance of God.

If a God exists, then he wouldn't need permission or acceptance of his existence to do anything, or he wouldn't be a God. The fact a country falls apart when the united acceptance of a God stops is proof there isn't one. The success of a country relies on a united belief system that benefits the entire population without harming each other. Most religious belief systems try to teach that very thing. Humans have been trying to invent a system that works for thousands of years, including religions, but they fail because humans have free will. Getting an entire nation of people believing the same thing will never happen. So, there will always be violence, unfortunately. We can't even get everyone to accept what the proper human diet is without people becoming violent.

@@YetAnotherCarnivore Judging by your comment, you clearly don't know who our God is. Pick up the bible and you will be enlightened and maybe even intrigued. The bible shows us countless times in biblical history where God brought communism and bloodshed to a country or city that removed Him and embraced paganism. But He never acted without warning. God always sent prophets to warn these evil people FIRST. He always gave them plenty of opportunities to change their ways in hopes that He would not have to punish them so severely.. The God of our bible doesn't need to prove anything to you. That's the beauty. Your reasoning is weak and unproven. What's also amazing and miraculous is that we have the physical evidence that overflows with proof of God everywhere, and you have nothing at all. Example, Sodom & Gammorah. A biblical event where this very evil city was burnt to a crisp with fire and brimstone. Guess what? You can visit Sodom today, and see for yourself a city which was once alive , is now completely covered in sulfuric acid which is Brimstone. Nothing lives there today, a reminder from God what happens to a nation that turns to paganism. I can show you physical proof for several events that took place in the bible. Our God is not a God who hides Himself, He has clearly shown Himself, but not everyone wants to accept Him. It would be easier for one to claim himself as an atheist than to believe. Because, to believe, would mean he has no choice but to turn from his evil ways. And that's just too hard for some. m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/e2uTm5SsmrjJf6w.html

Though I don't trust anyone who wants to be in a position of power, I think Trump is the only option that will benefit the people of this country the most. Kennedy is stuck on the climate propaganda which puts us at risk of a "climate lockfown", whereas Trump is aware that we are at the end of an interglacial cycle. That being said, a better informed and more open-minded candidate will have better success in achieving objectives.
