Worth it? Amazon's Cheapest Jackhammer

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Electric Jackhammer
amzn.to/3ynC3wD
This is my review of amazon electric demolition hammer jackhammer. I always thought jackhammers would cost thousands of dollars and could only be run on big power air compressors. This budget demolition hammer blows me away with what it is capable of. What can I break up next?

    This is the 5th tile project we've done where we've removed the old tile before installing new tile, and the first one with this tool kzread.infoUgkxqqoaX03nrziKwF7Bjjcc71YzLEleMvOS . I want to cry for all the unnecessary work we've done in the past. With this tool, we removed tile surrounding a fireplace, as well as the hearth tile, set in loads of cement, in less than an hour. I highly recommend this tool. It was easy to use, and very satisfying watching the tile literally fall off the wall.

    I was just given a Chicago Electric 62811, free, 'cause it didn't work. I mounted a hardware store pushbutton switch and will be trying it out soon, with my Champion 3600 w generator, with RV outlet. I will be digging a roadside ditch thru shale, which seems to break up fairly easily. Will also be using a Harbor Freight SDS hammer drill to drill holes for water to freeze and maybe use some of that "expanding grout", such as Geo-Break or whatever I can find at Lowes.

    Interesting, though I can't treat this a serious review because all jackhammer usage requires, at a minimum, 1 person leaning against a shovel doing nothing. Now, to be fair, with the tight camera framing, there might have been 1 (or more!) persons leaning against shovels doing nothing, in which case, I apologize! Seriously, I thought the harbor freight demo hammer was inexpensive (cheap?), but this wins. Nice concise review and demonstration. Guess the only remaining question is durability.

  • @ChadsCustomCreations

    @ChadsCustomCreations

    Hahaha love this. Yes true durability test would have to come from more breaking than what I have available on all of my property. I have thought about renting this out locally and seeing how long it can survive that abuse.

  • @ChadsCustomCreations

    @ChadsCustomCreations

    11 күн бұрын

    The instructions are pretty awful, as far as I know oil goes in that chamber with the glass window. The metal parts are most likely covered in grease when delivered this keeps them from rusting in the factory and warehouse. I don’t think the grease is necessary on the ends of the bits but it wouldn’t hurt and might even prolong the life of them.
