Vevor Demolition Hammer Review

For the price this tool will is generally worth it because it does not have to last a long time for it to pay itself off. It does generally have sufficient power and acceptable build quality except they use very cheap fasteners and it would be wise to upgrade the critical bolts to 12.9 from the soft and weak 8.8 that it comes with.

I seriously doubt that I’ll ever need to use something like this. But I seriously appreciate learning about the mechanics of the thing. Thanks for spending the time and effort to tell us about this hammer (and by extension, others like it).

I have the Harbor Freight Central Pneumatic version of this. I have had it for over 10 years. Two sets of brushes and one power cable and it still works great for digging in clay with the spade. It got me through until i was able to buy a Makita. I would never use to break concrete, but it works great in clay for digging a foundation when you cannot get a backhoe in.

hey , i have question. i've seen some people putting some grease on the spike before installing it. even using hammer drills. what do you guys think about it? on the other hand i really consider following the recommendations given by the author of this video about making a drill hole on the spot where the gears at to install a plug and adding grease. there are almost no videos on youtube greasing gears of jack hammers. on this videos he made it but unfortunately didnt show it. thank you anyways.

It would be really helpful if you could let me know the size of the metric fasteners you bought, I've ordered this hammer and getting it shipped to Venezuela and I need to order the fasteners, there is no way I'll find them here

Let me explain the "EMPTY" Sticker; Cheaper to put those on the bottles than field all the emails and telephone calls from people saying their bottles arrived empty. Would have been better not to have included the bottle at all (unless there is something in it).

Yes, demolition hammers are just smaller Jack hammers that you can use in horizontal positions. The spade attachment makes it useful hard ground like dry clay

Renting is $70 a day. If you rent for two days or more, you've already paid for this thing.

This is a copy from a professional hitachi jackhammer but the chinese made it bigger, with more powerful motor. Its good for large scale demolition of reinforced concrete and its one of the few things you can get for very cheap iet its professional. It outperforms Bosch while costing only 1/10 of the price and the hitachi model that it copies. You say to be used for light work like digging hard soil? 😂 With this you can easily demolish a reinforced concrete house. Its 1700 watts while the original Hitachi is smaller, 1300 watts.
