Hope you had a great weekend everyone! In case you are wondering about my own portfolio website, I used to have testimonials on there. Older viewers of this channel will likely remember that. However these days, I don't use my portfolio website to gain clients, simply because I have to turn clients away on a daily basis due to traffic from KZread. So I personally don't need more traffic, and so my portfolio website is more of an exhibition these days. Now at the age of 33, I've already 'made my bones' as they say.

How about a video about creating your own website/portfolio and what skill set you’ll need and how much they cost. For example Webflow, Editor X or Adobe Portfolio or one of the many others that are available.

hey satori recently im watching this trend on UX/UI designers trashing on graphic design how do you feel about that or is anything you can say about it?

Thats unfortunate, because UI designers in particular (UX is more researched focused) follow many of the principles of graphic designers and use many of the same tools. Ask a UI designer to make a brochure, they might stumble, but as a designer to make a landing oage mockup, they typically could work really well on it. Graphic designers of now in universities are often taught digital executions like UI along with print, so tbh not sure why they're trashing 😂 sorry, rant over

One of the worst problems has to be sites that just don't translate well to mobile devices, having all your hard work go to waste. I've clicked away from many a site on mobile because it's too infuriating to read text blocks that are clearly formatted for desktop, leaving you to scroll side to side and up and down in order to be able to read.
