Whoever has control of the board gets to pick a catagory and an amount. Then whoever buzzes in first answers the question, and if they're correct they gain that amount of money and have control of the board to pick the next question. If they're wrong they LOSE that amount of money and someone else can buzz in. That particular catagory was "Most Populous Nation". They were given 3 countries to pick from to choose which has the biggest population. It just so happened that one guy buzzed in first every time and guessed wrong, giving the next guy a 50/50 chance of being right between the two remaining choices.

@@JIKitty The questions in the clip, yes. They cleaned out the entire catagory in one go it looks like. Theres no rules that say you have to stay on the same catagory, you can bounce around wherever you'd like when you have control of the board.
