Boo Hoo

Genesis, August 1992. We drove from Orlando to Tampa (1+ hour drive). Great seats about 15 rows back on the field (stadium show). Show gets a late start. Band finally comes out, does two songs (Land of Confusion, No Son of Mine) and calls it a night. Phil had a sore throat. Concert was never rescheduled. Yeah, we got a refund days later but, still, a major bummer.

Last Van Hagar tour in Atlantic City. Eddie was so drunk. sound was horrible

A reformed Aerosmith back in '84 at the Kingswood in Ontario. Orion the Hunter came-on and played a legit and well received set. The intermission ran over 90 minutes, then one by one the members of Aerosmith came-on and rolled into a 12 minute jam session which eventually became Back in the Saddle. Aerosmith played for a little less than 55 minutes then they left the stage. Steven Tyler returned to the stage 20 minutes later, and stated "the show's over...the cops say we gotta go...". That was it.

Mid 80's George Thorogood concert w/Johnny Winter in NJ. Show was great, went to drive home, by buddy just got new wheels and tires installed on his car earlier that day. On the way home all 4 wheels started to come off at the same time. They crossthreaded all the lugs and they were coming off. Had to take a cab and get a flatbed tow truck.

Wow! Good thing you two didn’t get seriously hurt. I can’t picture Johnny Winter & George Thorogood on the same bill. ✌️

I went to see whitesnake in 87. They opened for motley crue. Whitesnake moped the floor with MC! I left after 3 songs in motley crue's show. Mc were crap !

Living Colour was my first favorite band back in 1988. Damn Ray sounds like you missed a great show!

The best concert ever:Queen The worst: everyone else

Marshall Tucker , Lead singer Doug Gray so drunk he couldn't sing.

Got extreme heat stroke at the 83 summer strut, Iron Maiden, lover boy, scorps, and Foreigner, worst concert I have ever seen ,easily, Judas Priest turbo tour, I've never seen so many people leaving during the concert,

No dis to you my Metal friend but i was 16 years old at the US Festival in Devore California on the metal day and the temperature was 100 degrees after 11 am…. The whole day… there was 200,000 people there boiling from the temperatures but unfortunately did not see anyone leaving… It was the sample year but maybe the temperatures were hotter at that festival. Regardless, it was , and still is one of the most memorable times of my teenage years. All my favorites played that day… It took me a few days to recover but at 16….. Not a problem 🤘🤘🤘!!!!

I've had many bad concert experiences to the point I refuse to go see bands anymore and the reason being I went and saw kiss motley in 2012 now I'm a huge kiss motley fan been a kiss fan since 75, and a crue fan since 81 and I had 2 vip passes to that show and had to share a box seat with 4 individuals that were drunk and high to the point that they started bullying me and my date like shoving up out of the way in the box seat and wouldn't let us get a decent view and kept telling us that they paid for those boxsets and we didn't belong setting with them and we should leave. It was clear that these dumbass individuals were high and drunk and what makes it so bad was that they weren't even fans of the bands because they were like 25 year old Jonny come lately.

altamont. nothing wrong with the concert but it was in the middle of nowhere. where is it. followed the crowd which was bigger than most armies in ancient times. was sitting. a couple of hells angels types got in a fight. not like big bill smith in movies. they swung a couple of times, missed and fell over exhausted. then started tossing beer cans to the ihe audience. figured what would happen if hit by a can and moved. stones came on. it got dark. concert over. lights went out. pitch black. no moon. people wandering around. had taken a greyhound bus. decided to just lay in ground. no porta potties. no water or food. heard people calling out cities. called out frisco. immediate ride. home by 10. did nobody think of what to do with crowd or where they would go after the concert or the trash left behind. guess not. security? you hire hells angels. as for dead man why would you take a weapon to a rock concert.
