I feel this is isn't talked about enough. Thousands of women raped, priests murdered, spiritual processes dead, libraries burned up, temples destroyed. Muslim Rule was torturous. And we need to say this, without spewing hate. The fact that we opted to be secular, still, is a blessing bestowed on us by the numerous masters and Sanatana Dharma. Ask most Muslims what they identify with more - they will look more towards Mecca (or Pakistan) than Kashi or Udipi lol. Besides, Muslims tend to lean very consistently on anti-Hindu (which tend to be Anti-national) agendas and propaganda. Take Kashmir for example, Muslims from all over India were against abrogation of Article 370. Apart from that they are so ungrateful and so crude that they fought for Ramjanbhoomi even while knowing that it is one of the most sacred places for Hindus! Sadhguru lacks basic knowledge about history. Plz see my other comment. Otherwise he wouldn't have compared an industrially efficient mass murder like Holocaust in modern age to massacres during wars in medieval times. And he also lacks knowledge about philosophy, because he has read very little. Once asked about Descartes, he couldn't say if he was French or German! He also hasn't read Indian scriptures.

The scale of destruction by marathas was even less than mughals forget the early turkic invasions. North India was liberated not devastated by them. Apart from certain cities they didn't harm anything. False equivalence has been created by liberals. And cholas generated more wealth than they destroyed for any province. Don't even bring them here. I specifically mentioned from ghori to timur. Anyone can see what the chronicles of that time say. It was a mongol style devastation where cities and villages were butchered routinely, humans put on spikes and the likes. I want everyone to just read Al beruni, Ibn batuta, Amir khusro etc chroniclers. They all can see for themselves. No need to study books written by "historians"
