The absolute twaddle the Rolls Royce representative comes out with to describe normal things is really something to behold, I was expecting him to call the wheels “the circumference of motion”

Oh man what a description! They have to adopt that 😂👏🏻

What you have here is a Product Manager expressing the design language of the development process. To the uninitiated it sounds like pointy twaddle but for designers, this is exactly the sort of language that they have to live with.

From a comfort point of view, this is probably going to be one of the best Rolls Royces ever. The already existing ultimate comfort of the phantom, ghost etc., but with no engine sound or vibrations. This might be the quietest car in the world (in terms of inside noise).
@implntd_kid1864

Rolls-Royce customers don't just want a quiet ride. They appreciate the richness and symbolism that comes from the 12 cylinder engine too. In fact, a friend of mine who owns RR dawn black badge, used to cruise Dawn in dawn, enjoying the subtle v12 engine sound. In that sense, there should be additional follow-up to the v12 Engined model such as Dawn/Wraith

A previous rolls model prototype, I believe the ghost, apparently had sound insulation removed as it caused nausea due to sound deprivation

They had an opportunity to create the largest frunk in the world, for ultimate luxury applications, like a full wardrobe or bar, and they just left it an unaccessible void. Are they even pretending to be trying? Sure it will be comfortable, but a coupe looks with huge frunk would have been something. Now it's a comfy short range coupe. Big whoop.

I suspect RR hired their own cameraman to film this video.
Everyone has been saying an electric car would be the best for them and this one looks pretty great
Absolutely stunning! Truly built and designed on the architecture of luxury and presence! Definitely on my list. Great rendering!!
The Cinematic Experience really does enhance this launch video!!! Congrats.
Mr JWW I’ll give you a nod today. Your Presentation with Mr RR going over the car blew Top gear’s review out of the park. P.S I think it’s stunning, now of to rob a bank to buy one.
There's one word that, more than any other in the English language, perfectly encapsulates everything about Rolls Royce: "Pretentiousness".
The channel is excellent. The attention to detail, the enthusiasm that goes into each review, is impressively evident. I recommend anyone who hasn't signed up yet to do so. May those who bring quality content be valued.

_- Wow I love the new look of the Spectre and the interior is spectacular, well done Rolls Royce.❤🔥
Mr JWW Absolutely Incredible Video I think the All new Rolls Royce Spectre looks absolutely incredible and I definitely agree that Rolls Royce finally has a Production Full EV considering that Rolls Royce strives to provide their Customers with the up most level of peace and luxury
That's a Sci-fi looking Rolls Royce. Finally it's more modern futuristic than old school.
Was probably easier to predict an electric future for cars in 1900 than for example in 1950, since they were so much more common back then (not as in "they were super common", but they were a bigger deal back in 1900 than they were in 1950), and the first road vehicle to go over 100 km/h was a 1899 electric car as well.
Electric for a luxury vehicle makes the most amount of sense in my opinion. With that said, in the US we are far behind on the infrastructure level for electric cars to be a suitable replacement for internal combustion engines. It's almost a scam here since not only 95% of the existing power grid is not capable of handling the new surge of electric vehicles but also the fact that more than 90% of electricity is produced via fossil fuels.
I love that they release this car in such a bolt colour!
This thing is amazing !
That paint combo is amazing. Especially that yellow.
WoW Wow WoW!!! What a beautiful design! I just Love the look 👀 and is a rolls too, what a car!! If I could afford one I would definitely buy two, one for me and my wifey. Love of!
Love the spectre. Especially the sky lights on the inside of the doors.
Rolls Royce have done it again. Pinicle of V8 v12 and now electric power. All other automobiles are lesser when it comes to Rolls Royce. Well done gentleman/ladies in the fantastic project. Bravo James for yet another 1st class introduction.
Just the name itself is so badass
Absolutely stunning
Brilliant presentation
This is an absolute beauty
Beautifully Done ✔️ 👏 👌
Stunningly Spectacular !!!!

Wow beautiful car improved every time 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
That headlights like in the i7 is what ruined it for me. Everything else is very nice looking! I can't believe they did a beautiful job with the led stripe and then integrate the normal headlights so poorly. The Phantom was way more pleasing looking in that regard. I would get in black just to hide that thing!
WOW that is out of this world... "The Spectre has arrived"
making a rolls electric legit makes sense. incredibly smooth power delivery, smoother than a v12, and is quiet doing so
james the new spectre from rolls royce is amazing good video.
Citroën C3 lights just like the 7 series! Waw!
Oh wow gorgeous!
This is how all Rolls Royce should look.
Love this car. The Wraith really for me was the start of the new RR and this moves it on again. Excited about the future with this.
Less than a minute into the video before James brings up "sculpture." ON BRAND!
Best looking car I’ve seen in a while. They did a great job. Curious to see different configurations
Nice one I want this
i loved the comments over the charge port ... Amazing... mmmmm!
Congratulations with this incredible design , really fantastic. I like to order please.
Coefficient of drag has nothing to do with size. The drag coefficient does not describe the drag in an absolute term as it does not account for the surface.
@manxman8008
Жыл бұрын
Exactly. A small rough brick would have more drag coeff than this.
@gospelofrye6881
Жыл бұрын
@@manxman8008 A brick would have a higher drag coefficient than the Spectre, yes. But that means, in the same airflow, the drag force on the brick, relative to its surface area, will be higher than the drag force on the Spectre. Overall energy required to accelerate the brick to 100mph will be much lower, of course, because the brick is much less massive. It is not in any way LESS "draggy" than a Spectre.
Rolls Royce fire on road 🔥🔥
honestly the rolls royce ev makes the most sense out of any c ar it adds to the experience by removing the combustion engine sound but for the others the engine adds to the whole experience
I love the lines.
The front sensors integration looks nice! Take notes automotive industry!
I'm smiling. Nice work Rolls Royce.
I LOVE IT !!!
Very good job the common design idea between the front grill and the rear taillights, really like that effort of matching the two sides of such an elegant car. 💡
Quality engineering.
Love the explanation of the guy.💯 Very excited to see an electric Rolls, it really suits its essence. ❤️
Lovely!
Whatever you’re doing, keep it up. One criticism-have two charge ports so you can use two machines to charge up twice as fast. One on each side.
@richardnedbalek1968
Жыл бұрын
Electric car manufacturers are increasing the charging voltage to, for example, 800V to allow for faster charging. Two charging ports would be clumsy, and finding two free adjacent public chargers would be problematic at best.
A TRUE MIRACLE
I like how the charging und Car Os is exactly like my i3. So every royce driver gets to feel like an i3 driver for a day 😂
Looks like a Rolls Royce right out of the Skoda Stables
Very good.
"We've developed the worlds smallest orchestra" man, that Rolls dude knows how to talk his shit up. "This isn't an ordinary toilet roll, we like to call it the evolution of a circle, the circle signifies infinity and the length helps us to elaborate that this is infinity extended"

One of the most beautiful BMWs ever built - well done Germany. ☹️
very beautiful
Cannot wait to see what Mansory does with it.
If RR can nail such a good drag coefficient with this thing, Mercedes have much less of an excuse for their aero blobs imo
@rustler08
Жыл бұрын
You do realize most of the Mercedes lineup have very impressive drag coefficients, right? The new S-class has a coefficient of drag of 0.22, for example. And the EQS is 0.20. Further, their EQXX manages 0.17, which is just astounding. So, not sure what you're on about, but you should probably spend less time on KZread if you're this ignorant.
@RishabhSharma-lq1id

It's cute tho 🗿👍
@JonasCuypers1
Жыл бұрын
The Mercedes EQS has a drag coefficient of 0.20. At 70MPH with exactly the same engine, battery and weight the range of the Mercedes would be 1.25 times the range of the Rolls Royce (so if the Rolls has 500, the Mercedes would have 625)
@gavcom4060

Tiny improvements in drag coefficient can mean a lot when it comes to a car… the aerodynamicists at Mercedes know what they’re doing
I think this will go down as one of the most beautifully designed cars of our generation
This is a very nice car.
Looks like an enema on wheels cobbled together by the left-over parts from a Wraith! And, that bilious multi-color interior with its fulsome seat logos. Classless!
It looks good almost everywhere except for the headlights
This car is designed for Roll Royce customers and they will love it. I think the design brief fulfilment is so much better than the Cullinan which has I might add dated hugely in just a few years.
Wonderful... 100000000000000000000000x more beautiful and captivating.than Mona Lisa.
My favorite color is green and the car looks fun
This channel has a way better production compared to top gear
Yes please - thank you Mr JWW 🤘🏾
No B pillar? Imagine that! GM introduced that feature in 1949. But it is a beautiful two-door hardtop.
Not quite sold on the front end, perhaps it’s the color but the hood/bonnet looks very rounded going down to the grille. The front fascia seems similarly less authoritative than I expected. Neither an elegant or regal look for such a long front end.
I was blown away by the master magical design even though in my dreams the RR makes the epic model I like to drive once in my life the day will be born for the movement let the dream can be real
The people that can afford this also can afford two of them with fast charging at home, so the chauffeurs will never feel the anxiety of current EV Real world range and charging infrastructure shortcomings. Yes it is beautiful and an experience that only the very top will enjoy. I’ll try to be happy with my lowly 911 and 348.
What is the height of the RR Spectre? Seems 5 ft 1 or about 155 cm?
The fact that the grill decreases the drag coefficient when we thought they'd eliminate it due to uselessness blows my mind
@richardnedbalek1968
Жыл бұрын
The grille defines any RR. Cd is one consideration. Sales is another. The RR PM even spoke to the prominence of the grille.
There are only three things I really really do not like about it. The headlights at the front. If they had been rectangular rather than the sill slope out from the grill. The tail lights are wayyyy too small for a car that size. The rear lights also remind me of the ones that were on the Jaguar XJ. The last thing. The boot opening. Way too small. Why not do the option of either what they have done or a full hatch which lifts the rear window. They could have put an internal window like they do with the cullinan.
@MT3J10
Жыл бұрын
Agreed they should have kept the front head lights the same. Personally I feel like they went a bit too overboard
That muster color couple with that black man pass the gray Poupon
The most important part they left out how big is the battery? Is it just 100kw/h like the rest ? Car manufactures love to skip over the fact that their range on EVs is trash. The max range can easily half if the conditions are unfavorable or if you drive quickly. The Taycan is empty after 45 minutes so is Tesla if you truly step on it. 200kw/h should be the bare minimum for high end cars.
what a beautiful car. I wish the headlights had been located high, like the other models. This look is not as "high brow" as the other.
How long is the aft to spurn span on that boat?!
WOW!
Это космос!
It will depreciate like a rock because of the ev power train.
That is a stunning car!
Thank you!
Did Bertie Basset [ liquorish allsorts ,candy in uk made in very similar colours ] design the interior ?
Can the customers afford the electricity for this car ? A serious question :) Beautiful car
I wonder if Spectre still has an old fashioned 12V battery somewhere under the hood? Or have they come up with a more modern solution?
Utterly stunning
