2008 to me will always be the most crazy year in WSOP history. The bad beats were insane some of the biggest in the history of the WSOP. it had the best fold in WSOP history (rominello folding Jack's full and being right). History was made with Eastgate, and hellmuth was the brattiest we ever saw him. 2008 was the greatest year in main event history.

If you're calling of a third of your stack preflop with ak you'd be better off shoving, it seemed obvious to me that the raising and re raising then re re raising with those hands was because they would rather take it down pre flop....ak.....shove its a tournament and some of these European players are hyper aggressive with a hand like ak stick it to em!😂

montgomery play vs demidov was icm suicide, not too mention just plain awful, he gave up like 4M in equity to be a big shot haha. His A4 play made no sense either so he is lucky to be there but wow.

While I appreciate Pokergo for providing this, I have to admit I skipped a lot. Very much the commercialization of everything. The sponsor badges, the announcer, commercials and short clips every 20 seconds, and the 'November Nine' idea in general. It's a tough watch if you like to watch poker being played rather than marketed.

I always thought the whole November 9 idea was bad overall (what if something happens to a final table player between July-Nov?), but it sure did make for great TV at the final table. All the hype gave the less dedicated poker fans to know the players so they could root for someone. I'm glad they did it, but I'm glad they got rid of it too.
