Oh the irony. I can't see Helmuth raising A2 then being called with Q10 as an anomaly ( he called a raise with Q10!) , then raising after he made the straight... just bad play on Helmuths part when he hit the Ace . Same as when he was creamed with the trip7s. Bad grapes and ego at being wrong with his reads.

Well, technically he didn't make a bet. He did APPEAR to make a bet, but the basic rule is "player intent." So the basic enquiry is did he INTEND to bet $3 milly. If the answer is "no," then you need to find a reason to hold him to a bet he didn't intend. In this case, they ruled that there weren't enough facts to require the $3 milly to stay.

Probably not. However, I'd bet that any individual player would never win the main event Vs the field. You have one shot a year and the odds today are around 10,000 to 1 now. Even someone like Phil who dominates amateur players is an extreme longshot and he would probably be top 5 in odds in Vegas.

I don’t remember Tiffany Michelle being so unlikable. She’s the worst.

the ruling made on the losev vs cantu where losev but his stack in and pulled it back made WSOP look really bad there. one of the worst calls ive ever seen. that whole stack should be in the middle.
