I have no idea about why the organizers are so petty when it comes to streaming and/or broadcasting rights. With this being a rapidly growing sport, they could earn a ton by paid streaming.

It's how it has always been. They never do a live coverage.

It really does suck you can't livestream or watch this until months after it happens, and we already know all the results. WSM is 100% behind the times, and it needs to change.

How they can't live stream it when no one will watch to get that add revenue on tv... Is beyond me. Brian Shaw live streamed Shaw Classic the first time the event ever took place and every time after and it has only grown.

@@high-captainofangbandgothm3926 considering all the prize money and contest are funded purely through it and it always blows out budget and overpays athletes more overall than wsm but not as much as winner. Probably all of the viewers in total that would ever watch wsm and a few extra

He's been fighting hilself every single competiotion.. I have been annoyed at watching Evan at events because of this. He is getting some much needed experience and is now harvesting points! Love to see it.

I agree. It is the most backwards way of airing a show, with barely any promotion, no streaming or live broadcasts on the day until months later. They are literally tying a tourniquet around their market, cutting off lots of ad dollars in the process.

IDEA: Eddie and Brian tour the world, a travel vlog series. Honestly, I think it'd be the most entertaining thing on youtube if you two just went out and fucked around in different countries for a couple months. Pure gold. Drop in on the other strongmen when in their country. It'd be amazing. But yeah, I'd LOVE to see Rauno in the finals (by the way Eddie, Heinla is pronounced more like HEY-n la, not HINE-la, fyi) - but seeing how I'd wanted Brian to win for years and that #5 never came to be, I'm not getting my hopes up.

If it wasn't for Eddie a large number of people would probably miss this event altogether. Try and get some permissions for a bit more footage Eddie! Just strongman one of the execs!

If Trey Mitchell gets into stone off no one is beating him outside of Tom, in his group though. Luke could push him but Luke def wants to avoid that. Win the group Luke. Brian’s my favorite but he’s done so I want to see Luke win or Evan. Mitch is awesome though.
