With all the mistakes they make at WSM, seeing all these athletes and videos gets me hyped unlike any other comp

I think Loz points it out pretty nicely here. The fact that WSM is really a two part competition really changes the nature of who is successful and who isn't. Pavlo could do very well in the Final if he gets there but that's a big if. It really is a different kind of competition and it's been that way since 1994 where certain guys do significantly better than others with that format.

Me sitting here deciding which athlete preview I was going to re-rewatch while getting ready for work and this gem pops up in my feed!

No matter how short or long this series is from you two, I appreciate it very much. No one else provides the coverage, humor, and knowledge like you two do in my opinion.

Counting his group placing at wsm 2023 aivars has placed top 3 in 16 of his last 18 competitions

The stone off seems to punish the shorter athlete less than the giants live style stone run

I loved the athlete profiles but i think this is easier

Loving these videos. Sidenote - post WSM content idea - top 30 previous WSM winners in a fantasy comp, liz and loz select events for groups and finals, random groups or select them to make them even, base points on previous best performances on that event or similar looking at athletes in there peak. Would be great to do a follow along with you both explaining the points and why, see how it plays out in a fantasy world scenario, and who is on the podium

You guys carry the lead up to these events.

11:49 if I remember well Pavlo in 2023 in Poland did 190kg or 200kg axle. He was doing it with specific, very spectatular way. He said he wasnt training axle for half a year, so that comp was first training. Also he didnt have a rubber t-shirt used at ASC (dont know if its alloeed at WSM). Axel in Poland was specific, very slippery. Do I thing if he is in shape 200kg is guaranteed.

I feel bad for anyone who gets into a stone off with Rauno. He will either win or just drain you of everything.

For some reason I initially thought it's a team for a team comp done by Giant's Live and they will expand the show from previous editions with UK vs USA. Well, I'm disappointed it was about WSM theoretical teams ;)

I hope one of the two Polish guys can make a good showing and somehow make the final!

Adam will easily be Top5 out of all the groups in car walk...he did a sub 10sec. 20m at OSG Europe with 420kg 😇

Pavlo and Aivers are the best out of the Europens, Rauno stands a great chance depending who he draws in the stone off but he will come last in the final if he makes it. Frame, Max Axel and Keg Toss he won't do well. Out of this group iam cheering Aivers hope he's not to TIERD !!

I don't agree with saying none of them are amazing at the car walk, cambi is great at the car walk, literally top 5 in the whole line up in this years worlds on the car walk

The UK is still Europe though 😢
