They looked better than a lot of takeaway pizzas I have had!

You should take a trip outside the US, loads of countries have vending machines to do things like this. Japan are crazy about them.

I love the idea of this. I would love to have these in the states. If we had these vending machines I would use them. And just to tip for your next venture to the pizza vending machine. Take a small blanket and wrap your pizza's in that blanket it will keep them warm until you get home

Hehe, I would use it again if I was craving for a pizza during night time because other options (cheap Turkish pizza places which are open until late at evening or night) would be considerably lower quality.

For it being -15 outside and you are taking it home, it would be the best option to have it half baked at the machine. That way you can have it fresh out of your oven at home.

This is the future of restaurants, they already have automated restaurants that can serve food to customers, all the way from French fries to milk shakes. The catch is that right now human labor is cheaper. But that won't always be the case, soon automation is gonna create a vast underclass of displaced workers, not commenting on whether that is good or bad. Let alone the transportation industry, self driving trucks, cars, etc.

My guess is that the crust is pre cooked and also the rest so its reheating but fine if it works.
