World’s Most Dangerous Roads: Best Of Asian Countries - Philippines, India, China & Bangladesh
World's Most Dangerous Roads - The Flying Trucks of Kenya: • World's Most Dangerous...
00:00:00 Philippines' Serpentines (2014)
The Halsema Highway, situated on the island Luzon, leads right through the Philippine jungle with its frequent fog and heavy rainfalls. Every trip on this so-called road is an adventure and highly dangerous. We accompany a bus driver and a taxi driver on their challenging trip across the mountains.
00:42:44 India - Leh-Manali Highway (2010)
It is a road of mountain passes and India’s access to the roof of the world - the Himalayas. This 475-kilometre long route at the northernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent connects the cities of Manali and Leh at the heart of the Ladakh region. The term “highway” applies quite literally, since the route traverses five of the highest drivable mountain passes in the world - among these the Lohtang La at 3,978 metres above sea level, the Lachulung La at 5,059 metres and the Tanglang La at 5,325 metres. Crossing these passes is a challenge for both vehicle and man. The mountain peaks, still snow-capped even in the depths of summer, wide variety of vegetation and the fantastic and craggy landscape turn any journey into a captivating adventure.
01:25:44 China - The Sichuan-Tibet Highway (2014)
The Sichuan Tibet Highway is the road of longing for many. It leads through fascinating landscapes and remote areas up to the Himalayan Mountains. We accompany truck driver Ren Taiping on his trip to the Tibetan capital city of Lhasa, encountering pilgrims, mountain bikers and nomads on this dangerous journey.
02:08:25 Bangladesh - The Nawabpur Road in Dhaka (2010)
In Bangladesh, the land with the highest density of population in the world (and the highest amount of corruption), the daily struggle to survive is fought everywhere, including the streets. Nowhere do people drive as brutally and recklessly as here. In Bangladesh you drive on the road like others drive with a bumper car: if you need space, you simply ram the car driving next to you. The police only came if there are fatalities. The biggest bottleneck in the transport system is the historical old town of Dhaka.

It's just not the same as a Tony Comitti production and without the regular voice-over guy. I hope this isn't the end of "most dangerous roads" series.

As if I havnt already watched every single episode multiple times, I quickly clicked on this one to watch more! Love it! Will we be seeing any new Deadliest Roads in some new countries not shown already? These are by far my most favorite series!

We have a Dangerous Road near where I live.... When you drive on it and get to end The Cars Been Stripped of its , Bumpers, Doors, Glass,Wheel Trims, Interior and anything else they can sell.........The place is Called 'Edinburger" where they Steal Your Tea Bags and come back asking for the Sugar........Deadly Roads!!!
"This road is the epitome of 'thrill-seeker's paradise.' The vertigo-inducing heights and rugged terrain are not for the faint of heart. Your video truly captured the danger and excitement of this epic drive. Kudos for having the courage to experience it!"
Salute to the cameraman , audio man , auditor , show producer and to the rest film crews. I wonder how long does it takes to shoot this documentary. This a very long documentary and lots of time spent with the drivers. Great documentary!
He is a mechanic, a farmer, businessman man is amazing
I was raised in the cordillera mountains and always enjoyed hitching a ride off the roof as a kid. And as a motorsport fan, these dangerous mountain roads would make for some EPIC WRC stages!
I have so much respect for all of the brave & hard working people. I wish their lives were easier tho💕💕💕🇺🇸🇺🇸

Interesting and informative. Excellent photography job enabling viewers to better understand what the orator was describing. Professional class A research project!!! Special thanks to the veteran drivers/passengers. Sharing personal information/driving 🚗 travel experiences. Making this documentary more authentic and possible. Those narrow dirt packed roads with hair pin turns. Can be challenging for the best of veteran drivers. Adventurous motor cycle trip for those riders.
Cant demand more from your videos. Its really a blessing to watch your videos and even better when i read comments says that some were old videos and now the road condition is much better with roads are already tarmac and more safer. Your videos opening our eyes to see other region
Whang Od before the Vogue. Amazing Lola. This is life in the Philippines 🇵🇭.

Apo Whang Od, the tattoo artist from Kalinga Philippines just went viral recently when she was featured on the cover of Vogue Philippines as the oldest person at 106 years old to grace the cover of said magazine. News was picked up by other international news outlets.

Sorry to burst your bubble dude! No one in her village think she is 106, Wang-Od classmate is only 96 years old and Wang-Od only estimating her age, no legit proof! BTW, Wang-Od daughter is the one that give that 96 years old her tattoo😀

Muchas gracias por compartir estas situaciones extremas !!👍🏻
I applaud you for explaining this procedure. I’m moving to Cagayan in a year and you have explained this mystery. Thank you😃
Back to watch these all over again, still great viewing. Incredibly good episodes, all of them. I want this narrator to follow me around and describe the world just like he does here. Every new situation or entrance would begin with a short prolog, and whenever I open my mouth, no matter what I say or how I say it, he should repeat it just like he does here, maybe refining my words a bit or replacing my more colorful vernacular with something more familiar to whomever I am speaking to, or occasionally a mistranslated word that makes no sense whatsoever, and always of course using his signature lyrical cadence with just a hint of good humor. My life would be so much more fun and the people with whom I interact would be far more agreeable. It may not seem like it, but really it's a compliment. I need this, I do, I so do.
I admire how the men and women help others when they need help. On the road. food etc.
Watching these documentaries about challenging and perilous roads across different parts of the world is a rollercoaster of emotions. From the treacherous Halsema Highway in the Philippine jungle to the breathtaking Leh-Manali Highway in India and the remote Sichuan-Tibet Highway, these journeys remind us of the incredible diversity of our planet's landscapes. The chaotic but determined drivers on the Nawabpur Road in Dhaka, Bangladesh, demonstrate the resilience of the human spirit. Thank you for taking us on these thrilling adventures and showcasing the beauty and challenges of these roads.

Interesting/informative/entertaining. Excellent motion photography pictures 📷 enabling viewers to better understand what the orator was describing. Special thanks to veteran drivers/delivery customers/road workers. Sharing personal information/driving experiences making this documentary more authentic and possible. Separating facts from fiction. Some 🚚trucks & 🚌 buses aren't in the very safe or mechanically sound condition. At times bailing wire/chewing gum and a prayer. Get the driver's truck to it's destination. Video crew did a very professional job.

Breath taking episode!!!
2:30:08 I wonder what this procedure is called on his left leg. My best guess is it is a timed delay medication done IM intramuscular. This might be to avoid some issues with using an IV drip. Maybe the medication vials have needles and are stabilized and have pressure applied by the metallic looking rack like structure. This makes me wonder what other innovations that might be going on at the ground level like that in places with different relationships to insurance companies and lobbyist and such.
It is 2024 and Halsema Highway has improved a lot since 2014 😊
Hard life and so nice people in the Philippines!

Hard life is everywhere. In the West people work like donkeys6 to pay for borrowing for everything like phone, car, house, furniture, travel/vacation & credit card. Many are on anti depressants and anti anxiety drugs because of lacking debt free life. Many commit suicide. I bet you take those meds. Real life is what the people in the document are living, not borrowed time money. It all starts with student loans & the rest is sad. What a pity & real hard life. Viva Great Mother Africa.
Another priceless documentary Well documented ❤
