Thanks world wide ...another informative video and letting me know that I'm not the only one that can't use super long stems I've tried.... couldn't get them to go straight at all I had to try them after seeing Humphries effortlessly throw them dude has a great shot no doubt...

Fun video WW….thanks. These stems are extreme of course, but over time - from playing mostly with short stems, I find myself switching to longer stems more and more. By the way - Dartshopper now has these Crux “Brave” darts in stock.

The original unicorn Peter Manley darts used long aluminum shafts. These would be good with these.

Long stems lead to more influence on the darts (-> stabilisation) but also to more air resistance and thus lower speed. You always need a minimum speed to get the stabilisation effect from the flights. I tested those stems in combination with 23g Bulls darts and had the same problem. I solved it by throwing harder. Heavier darts would also help i think (they dont get slowed down as much). I Cannot test that theory with my 38g Darts anymore. Robin Hood visited too often....

Looks like fun! Maybe it’s in my head but I don’t use just one size for everything. Seems I throw some sets better with a longer and some with shorter stems. I guess it has to do with the balance point of the dart?

Luke's throw is more of a fling, and i think that works better with the longer stems. he seems to always hhit2 trebles out of the 3, its amazing to watch. good video though, as it proves to me i don't need longer stems either lol

I play light darts on an overall weight of exactly 17g. Different points, different barrel shapes, different stems and different Flights. I tried so many equipment. And I also have Luke's darts and three other sets....and....they work. But, the Barrels are more on the short side (38-43mm) and the flight i play is a 'l-style L9Z', so..... 🎯🎯🎯Good darts

You gotta do a vid with longest points, barrells, stems and flights. Easily 220-240mm long

Worldwide; really good video. Those stems are outrageous. I only use either short or intermediate length for all my darts; I really don't think I could throw those things. Just think matching up those stems with the really long points; now that would be a set up. Thanks and keep the videos rolling.

Thanks! Yeah, I almost need to make a 66/66 dart. I'd have these 66mm stems on the back and I could use the Frankenstein 66mm points up front 😂

Nice video. I have never tried shafts longer than Medium and I think those are long. I probably wouldn’t do overly well either at the extreme end of shaft length but I would be willing to give them a go. Funny how well the 66mm points on Frankenstein darts doesn’t hurt the flight path at all. Someone else commented about putting those shafts on your Frankenstein darts to see what would happen. Not sure why you chose to use the Red Dragon Airwing flights. How many other flights of any did you try?

The angle of the dart says a lot. Geez. Maybe with a very heavy dart may work better lol. Good review

Dartitis did me in

My fingers have been getting really sticky after a couple of legs. I tried things like powder, towels, washing hands... etc. etc. Is this fixable??

It's most likely the glue from the dartboard coming off on your points. Is there residue on your points?

@@WorldwideDarts That's next level. I don't see any residue but I do have some points that are black and others that are steel colored. I sweat a pretty good bit in that room too. I just got to face facts that I'm old and fat now and probably have too much sugar in my blood coming out of my pores. I kind of feel the stickiness when I use my mouse on my computer too.

Hi everyone - just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for darts similar in shape / grip to the aspinall g2 and the RVB echo sp darts but a bit cheaper as I can't afford either of them 😅 great vid as usual btw
