I would like to thank Ridiculous Rides for sharing our story with Transformers fans around the world. I built Optimus Is Here (with a lot of help from many people) to inspire my son that he should never be afraid to pursue his dreams, no matter how far fetched they may be. I'm just an ordinary dad (and no...I'm not independently wealthy) who decided to try something I've always dreamed of, and something no other fan has done before. This was (still is) the most difficult project I've ever taken on in my life. But my hope through this is that my son will grow up one day and take on a world of opportunities with no fear. I also very much enjoy sharing it with all of you. Oh and for those who have the common responses like "so what...it doesn't transform/ it's just a paint job"...say what you will. My response - he's a robot in disguise. He's not supposed to transform. And in the eyes of the thousands of children we meet each month, he is real...he is EPIC...and he is an inspiration" ;) ROLLLL OUT!!!

What makes this truly inspirational was that you showed your son that you are always above life even in difficult times. This build is a reflection of that, there would have been a fair amount of hurdles that were in your way and possibly sometimes you just wanted to put the wrench down and walk away, but your son's eagerness is fuel for your willpower to complete it to the end. I've been waiting for the day for someone to build the Western Star version of Prime and your sir did not dissapoint! Well done for building such a masterpiece and sharing it to many fans all over! :D Out of curiosity how long did this entire build take?

Thank you! And yes - on more than one occasion I was ready to "put the wrench down" lol. It took about 5 months and involved a team of about 25 people total from all different walks of life and experience. But since then we've had to do a ton of repairs to the original work, so I guess you can say it's never truly "done" :) Hope you'll continue to follow our adventures :)

As a Transformers fan myself, I envy Mr. Fiduccia for being able to build an Optimus Prime replica and own one. Now I wish that Mr. Fiduccia and his son would have cameos in future Transformers films. They certainly earned them.

I remember seeing this truck at an auto show near Harrisburg. It’s an absolute beauty of a vehicle let me tell you and this video doesn’t do it Justice to see how tall it is. It’s MASSIVE.

Almost everyone loves Optimus prime..... because when i was a kid in 1984.. when the animation just came on screen....I used to be prime among all my friends..... and today i still say and feel that way.... with out him or a prime transformers will not be as fun as it is..... prime rules.

Nice to see the Western Star logo on the seats and steering wheel. They were manufactured here in Kelowna,BC,🇨🇦, for many years. I used to love seeing them piggy backed heading down the highway to the dealers. Super cool build ! 🤘

Holy Wowness! I haven't been more impressed since I first saw all 5 of the Transformers movies, I didn't think that anyone could create a replica of one of my top favorite Autobots. I adore Optimus Prime and this is just a true sight to behold, what I wouldn't give to have that truck and even Bumblebee in front of my house or even any of the others. This is one of my favorite styles for Optimus Prime and if my friend Amber saw this she would probably faint. Please keep surprising people!

Now after watching this I have a whole new and utter respect for this guy he not only made his son's dream come true but he also did mine.. Just to say by reading the title for one single second just gave me goosebumps... It gave me those vibes like Optimus.. Optimus Prime is here... I love transformers just love it.. Like I am a die hard fan of it and I love Optimus Prime like love him to death.. Like who wouldn't love him.. One with such great ethics, morals, inspiration... and lot's more than meets the eye.... THIS WHOLE THING JUST BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES.... 👌👌☝️👍👍👍

My husband is 2nd generation truck driver. A guy ran out in front of hubby's semi to commit suicide. It ended his career and destroyed him. I told him to come home. When he walked in the door I said give me the keys, you're done. It took that for him to realize his career was done. He sold his business, bankrupted and earlier sold his house. So sad to see what it has done to him. When this popped up on KZread one day he was talking about it. He likes all the changes and the horns lol. You did a great job. Beautiful truck and even better your son is involved. Safe travels

Saw the truck at cavalcade or cars in hamburg NY all weekend. Owner drove it through snow from PA and said he had to detail it for 12 hours prior to the show. My trailer was a filthy mess that I towed my car with,so I can’t imagine how much cleaning he had to do. Truck looked amazing in person and owner is a cool dude too

This man got a CDL just to be able to drive this thing. I'm a CDL holder and its a pain to get. Respect to this man
