I don’t usually respond to comments on the internet but just thought I’d clarify some points I’ve read. This IS the first and only Hummer H6 SUVT in the world. At no point have I ever claimed it’s the first 6 wheeled Hummer as there are dozens of them, usually all estates or SUV’s . However, this is the only one in the world which has a SUV and SUT body together (hence SUVT). Secondly, yes the rear axle is a floating axle like lorry’s use in the UK. It supports extra weight only and isn’t driven. The rear axle is ready to be connected but sourcing a middle axle with an output shaft in the UK is very difficult. Thanks

This is not the only one in the world I have an sut 6x6 and there are a few that were made in Detroit from a custom shop with gm. There’s also a few SUT’s 6x6 on KZread. You’re in UK so it may be the only one there but in US we even have convertible ones where the back sections opens up completely

@@GuitarSamurai17 It would help with load capacity, but the midget bed doesn't allow you to carry anything that would weigh that much, even with a full cab.

I love Hummer sut's. ... I'm working on getting my second one. .... It would be absolutely mind-boggling for me if I could get a hold of a 6 by 6.

@@Loki13M you're absolutely right. I remember seeing a six-by-six Hummer build-out of I think it was Britain. ... It was an absolute work of art, except it did not have all six wheel drive. ... the guy went through all that work and time and detail and left out what I think is the main purpose.

This isn't the first 6x6 Hummer.. Bureko already did a 6x6 Hummer... I bet the 3rd axle on this H2 is probably a lazy axle... Just guessing.. I'm only 40 seconds in.. Looks great though! Edit: I hate the pickup bed with the SUV wagon back.. Cosmetically anyway.. This is still awesome though!

This is not the first 6 wheel drive , 6 wheel steering Hummer built in UK. We built one over twenty years ago with 8.2 litre American power train ,450 BHP and called it Ultimor. . The prototype is still kept in our storage near Bristol. We developed our own transfer box and the vehicle has the options of 4 or 6 wheel drive. It also had two steering options so it could either move sideways(crab) or practically turn on itself. Our client used it for hunting using Falcon in Saudi desert. Daily Telegraph published a full page article in their motoring section and it was shown extensively in tv motoring programmes. I still have test DVD and articles and the actual vehicle is operational and registered.

You should contact Niall Seymour, the owner of the car, to visit your place and discuss how to modify his Hummer into a working 6x6. His account is "smiley nialley" in this comment section (he has also replied to a few people). He was saying that it's very difficult to source a middle axle with an output shaft in the UK. It's all very well being the actual first people to build it, but if you don't make it known and lock away the prototype in storage, then no-one will know about it.

H2 is just a glorified Suburban chassis with better clearances. H1 would have been the way to go but in Brittan they have narrower roads, probably cant even get a H1 legally there.

@@PACKERMAN2077 Those are exceedingly rare, only sold to civilian markets for a short time before they found a way to rebuild/refurbish them. These days all damaged or destroyed HUMVEEs go to a processing yard and get parted out as spares for the remaining fleet. If they ever get around to settling on a replacement for the HUMVEE im hoping that changes and they sell off the old inventory, but don't hold your breath for that one.

the wheel at the middle or the last wheel will forcing each other when you turn..is there a mechanical mechanism that the four wheel at the rear will not forcing or scratching when you turn? the double tire at the rear is better than that..stupid engineering...

The 3rd. Axel don't pull ,. The truck is NO GOOD off road, it's just for looks only good for a boulevard cruiser. Someone just ruined a good Hummer.

I think its just another style, its great to have lots of styles of cars so that everyone can have a car that feels like it represents their personality a certain way, when i see humvee i think of the words tough, manly, military, some people hate it and i get that, those people probably like a different style and thats ok!

Well actually Mercedes hasn't done this.. Mercedes has a 6×6, not a 6×4.. If you look closely @ 2:17 what don't you see?? I myself don't see a driveshaft, going from the middle axle to the rear axle.. This shmuk is basically towing the 3rd axle.. Awesome idea little guy!! But it's not quite finished!!
