I saw in Antwerp (Belgium) in 1988 a car of which the front and the rear were really identical to car No. 1. That is 4 years before car No.1 was completed. Even the writing on the front door was very similar, if not exactly the same (I have only a sketch, no photograph). It was called "Jay Ohrberg's American Dream". But is was only half the length or so. Still it was announced as the longest car in the world. Now I wonder whether it was the same car that he further stretched between 1988 and 1992, or whether he built a new one.

Can remember seeing the first one in mags. Not surprised it's junk now,all they could do was move it back and forth on the lot. It was too big for the road and even the Police didn't have good things to say about it's presence on the road, it was just a danger. As for the F40, Ferrari wanted the badging taken off and all referencing to it being a Ferrari removed, just like they did with the German Koenig conversions on Testarossa in the 80's
