When it said you were building a car for your son, I figured it would be cool, but I was NOT expecting the whole thing to be made out of wood (about 2/3 through the video, I actually read the name of your channel LOL). I work for one of the big 3 automakers here in Detroit, and I sent this video to one of the guys in the clay modeling department of the design studio. Him and his coworkers were blown away by this craftsmanship (as was I). Unlike clay, wood is obviously much harder to shape, and much more difficult to fix if you make a mistake. They said these skills are on par with them, if not better.

The thing that stood out to me right away is half of his tools are garbage. There is a massive difference between low budget/no name tools and high quality tools. Doing this with good tools is incredible, doing this what he used is beyond incredible

This video brings me joy on so many levels. That dad needs a father of the year award. I know his skills are so on- point because he actually loves what he does. I'm sure his son will always remember this, and will probably grow to only appreciate it even more over the years in time. Something like this can be passed down generations because it was built out of love & to last. Love on many levels. Love for family, love for your skill & craft, and a general love for life and creation. So kudos to you kind sir! This is amazing. I wonder where this man gets the resources to build these wooden cars and what he does w them afterward.

This was a true labor of love for your son. Every child on the block will be so envious seeing him riding in it . They’re going be asking their fathers to make them one. But not every man is crafty like that. I was blown away by the fact that you were able to fit in it and drive . And the ending part of the video was priceless. @@noxuqiii OK, I see what you mean. It is always the case tho, unless every family and every child have the exact same situation and toys. It would be a pretty boring world if everyone had exactly the same things, economy, and abilities to not create envy. My opinion but I may be wrong of course. Of course some kid will be envious of the car, but does that mean the father shouldn't have made it because it could happen? It's a too dark and negative way of looking at it IMO.

I know this was a labor of love for your son - and that the build was almost 70 days but there is almost certainly a real market for a product like this. High end custom, what is effectively a power wheel, I can see exceptionally affluent parents being interested in similar products

Um, yeah, maybe for you. But, he would not wnt to take that much time away from his own child. You can tell he is about his own child. Which is how it should be. You sir/maam, whichever, should take notes and take the time to build it with your own children. Tbis should in no way make you want children, just so someone else can do the work. The amount of time and engineering that went into this project is unbelievable. The craftsmanship​ is parallel with an actual Rolls Royce IMO. Talk about a labor of love...on so many levels.👍

Man, I could imagine you being such a Karen with cars salespeople if they wanted to accompany and do the initial half of the test drive with you.
