I love Air France, especially their business class product. I flew on a 777 to Paris last summer in business class and loved it. Air France's catering is top notch.

I’ve flown Air France recently from CDG to MRU in Premium Economy with a 777 and I really enjoyed it. The Seat was comfortable and the Service was friendly and efficient. I think that AF has made a huge step forward with its hard product as well as with its soft product. I would fly them anytime again. And thank you for the nice Video. It’s always so relaxing watching your Videos. 😊

Great review reminded me of the many commutes I did ex SIN to Congo then other ports in west Africa, best cheese and especially the Pear spirit a great pick us up! Crews always were the best and pax were their priority!

nice cabin! I used to fly Amsterdam-Paris, Paris-Windhoek with a stopover in Johannesburg in the years AF used the 747 with 1st Class always a night flight Paris-Johannesburg-Paris which was very convenient. Stopover in Johannesburg was around 1.30 hr. and to/from Windhoek another 2 hours I think.

Great video as always! Haven't flown AF, but have done KLM business. I am surprised at the colour scheme as well. Honestly, those two tone beige colours remind me of old computer cases from the 80s and 90s. It actually gives the vibe of cheap plastic.

Great video as usual but did miss the little titbits of info normally in captions.

I was going to say, I didn't find much special about the hard product here compared to other J products, until I saw the bulkhead seats!

Great video, we presented. I must say though that chair did not look very comfortable to get some sleep, or maybe was just me 😊

I flew with the Business class to Havana, Cuba around 2008 on the 747-400. The seat back then was TERRIBLE so I am glad to see lots of improvement.

I have flown Air France many times, and I really like them. Most times in La Première, which in my opinion is exceptional. Thank you for your wonderful information. Great content as always. Happy Holidays to you and yours, thank you for a great year of wonderful reports!

My wife and I are flying BOS to CDG on the a350 in row 1 D&H and selected it when I purchased the tix. I have no status on any airline. Can't wait for the food.

I prefer AF to my national carrier, BA, in all classes. I would even go out of my way to fly with them on shorthaul itineraries, even if it added extra hours, but the connections at CDG always let me down and made me retreat to BA (on shorthauls)! The bad connections at CDG probably won't be fixed anytime soon, unfortunately.

Enjoy Johannesburg while you still can...

Great video ! But I think Qatar Qsuite remain the world best Business class. The double bed for couples, the dyptique products, the white company pyjamas, the table dressed for lunch or dinner... and also in certain route the Qsuite are quite affordable (I paid 1420 euros for Paris to Phuket).

Air France est épouvantable j’ ai pris l’avion en business Toronto Paris et retour mai et fin juillet un vrais désastre.La cabine était avec du duck tape .La nourriture désastreuse pas vraiment confortable. Nous venons de prendre Turkish airlines qu’elle merveille la nourriture était très bonne. La cabine impeccable .Le service était parfait.Nous sommes partis de Toronto to Bangkok toujours en business.Nous recommandons à tout le monde de choisir Turkish.

Worlds best ? Hmm. If you think. I would guess that Emirates, Cathay and Lufthansa's business is equal. But hey... It sure looks better than 10 years ago because AF invested nearly 1 billion € in all products. Lounges. Uniforms. Cabins. Planes. It shows !!!

So we get Utah video early next year?? Nice. Burj al-Arab? Return visit to the Soneva twins (Jani and Fushi).. 2024 looking good. Was that your last video of the year? You've earned a rest!

I so want to travel after seeing these videos but with my bank balance I can barely make it to another block.

@luxurytravelexpert question - do you think you row 1 in front of business class would be disturbed by galley and bathroom enough that bulkhead was not worth it?

I don t understand why the magazine and sécurité booklets are stored in a beige compartment …doesn t match at all the Nice White and Darik blue !!!

Maybe is a silly question...but AF has option for special meal menu (diabetic, vegan, gluten or dairy free) in that class? Is a top menu as well?

No you don't I'm not rich and I fly business class London to Bangkok 2k if your willing get a long flight £1800. Your pay £ 800 economy just don't drink alcohol or smoke go to cheaper supermarkets its bloody easy. Then when you're away you can have a right good jolly

I've been flying on Air France since the mid 1980s. I have always found their SERVICE, food and general comfort extremely good. MILES above USA carriers (especially on USA domestic flights). I DO speak French and understand the French culture, so perhaps it helps that I don't come across as an insecure, demanding or "pushy" American!

@@luxurytravelexpert The seat is perhaps better if you have status and you're all but guaranteed the bulkhead seat. In The Room, the spacing appears to be more even no matter where you sit. Arguably, Air France may have a nicer soft product, but from what I've seen of The Room, the hard product is hard to beat.

Row 1 will not be the extra wide bulkhead on all 777 variants. This is the new business seat and most aircraft will yet to be retrofitted
