i think gp's build has never been this limited in years duo to the cd nerf on his e. like 18 sec cd just destoryed a lot of potential builds for gp, you are basically forced to build quickblade regardless , or else you find yourself in the situations of not having barrel in a critical moment.

Remember when durability patch was a thing ? Me neither…

⁠@@absolutize1615 Yeah bro let’s go back to fights ending in 5 seconds flat lmao. Bruisers were already strong prior to Durability update, reverting it doesn’t do anything. And ADCs being strong isn’t bad because Mages can still destroy ADCs by keeping them behind. Game’s healthier right now than it’s been for a while (barring the item changes, have to see how these land) which is unfortunate but still good that there’s some progress

​@Wildcat u are delusional if u genuinely think league is in a healthy state right now. We will see what the item changes turn the game into but before 13.10 the game was dominated by bot lane. Whichever adc got to 2 items first wins the game and if it wasnt that it was some unkillable tank bending ur entire team over

It's 1K pre-mitigation on the barrels. The reality is he is dealing far less when the champion's armour is factored in and as you saw Poppy took around 400.

People say that GP is not broken since you can shoot the barrel yourself, but it's not possible when it just spawned like at 12:10. There is NO OUTPLAY to that 3rd barrel! How come people think GP isn't broken due to that?

Because, he uses 3 barrels to get 1 to damage enemies. This means he uses like 1 3rd of his kit to make a play like that while other Champions have other means to deal damage (some less or more but mostly single target) in a safer way. GP is a do or die kind of character and a lot of control over his kit is needed for him to work properly, if his damage is nerfed then he would have no use since his gig is, just as we said, nerfed. The core of the champion is to have massive bursts of damage in his specialist kit (hence his R is not centre of his kit and not his BIG ability that other champions have, but rather barrels)
