The current hardest hit baseball in MLB statcast history, a ball hit by O'Neal Cruz of the Pirates on 4/20/2022, had an exit velo of 122.4 mph. With this exit velocity, a baseball hit at the perfect launch angle and in a vacuum would travel 1002 feet (Cruz didn't hit it at a perfect launch angle, he hit it at a low launch angle, so it didn't even leave the park). Now obviously you can't hit baseballs in a vacuum because you would need a pressure suit, and you wouldn't be able to swing a bat with enough power while wearing one. But the closest you can get to this would be traveling to actual high elevation, the kind of elevation that puts this baseball field to shame. My suggestion would be Ecuador, which has high elevation combined with hot temperatures and available baseball fields. The hot temperatures are relevant because they also reduce air density -- hot air is less dense than cold air -- so baseballs will go even further. The terrain in Ecuador also provides enough flat land at high elevation to build baseball fields on. Ecuador's capital Quito is well over 9000 feet in elevation and located on the equator, and Ecuador has towns accessible by road that are higher than Quito.

They use CGI or editing tricks there’s no way these clowns are hitting a baseball 500 feet let alone 580 feet further than Babe Ruth bullshit world record and it won’t count anyways because you know they’re using quart aluminum bats they’re doing it at altitude in the desert where the air is super dry and super thin. They’re not doing it in a major league ballpark against major league pitching in a game.

I've been working summers at Yellowstone National Park the last few years and we'll head to Jackson Hole to get a taste of civilization once in a while. It's really cool to see he's doing well and keeping the baseball life going strong and it's interesting how small the world can be watching him as a kid and sharing the same space as him now as an adult.

It was obviously not 580 feet they just made that up. They asked a civil engineer to make a projection so it’s not like it was measured officially. The guy just said let’s call at 580 feet, required assumptions on velocity on the trajectory on angle when it hit the stands. The wall in left center at mile high stadium is at 366 feet. To assume a ball that landed in the upper deck would actually have traveled 216 feet past the is a serious stretch.

This should win an Oscar. Honestly, I thought 580 feet was impossible but you did it. That Hypefire is the real deal. Keep posting these videos. I love seeing how far this can be pushed. Those 122 mph balls are missiles. No way I would want to field one of those. Great job! Keep up the great work!

The farthest anyone has ever hit a baseball was Bo Jackson in an intrasquad game at Royals’ spring training in 1988 off Mark Gubicza-729 feet, over an entire auxilary field.

7:40 I was laughing at the thought of him hitting the 5G tower and knocking out everyone’s cell service. This brought back so many memories with my friends doing the same thing. There aren’t many sports “sounds” more iconic or as epic as a solid bat crack. You don’t even have to be watching to know when the ball has been absofreakinglutely crushed. I’ve watched and liked a number of your channels shorts, but hadn’t subbed until this video. Great video. Thank you all for sharing this amazing moment with us.

Fun video! The hardest/farthest-hit baseball I've ever seen in an MLB game is Andres Gallarraga's home run in Miami in 1997. Legitimately may have been a 540+ foot home run IMO.
